The National Youth day/ 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated on 12th January, 2020 at school with great joy.
The block education officer Mogto Sri Pema Dondup was honoured the school by having the chief guest’s seat. Smti. Yeshi Lhamu, A.E. (PWD), Mogto was present as guest of honour. (ADC Jang Sri Lobsang Wangchu Papu was supposed to come, but due to his illness he had cancelled the visit).
Students of the school had participated in various types of cultural events in that very programme like- patriotic song, traditional dance, Drama, Street play etc. all the students and parents were present in that very programme.
On that very event the school had arranged general exhibition to show the creativity of the student in different subjects such as India, Arunachal, Monpa culture and tradition, games and sports, craft, English, Hindi, Maths, Social Science, EVS, Science and sanskrit. Each subject had displayed their creation and explained in front of the guests in their individual stalls.
In front of the exhibition stall different types of captions are beautifully mentioned to make these attractive. The guests and the parents were appreciated the effort taken by the school.

The 28th Volume of Arohi, the house magazine of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh has been released at VKV Itanagar on 21th November 2019 by Man. Nivedita Didi Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari & Shri. Pai Daveji Sahaprant Pramukh Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh.
On this occasion Man. Nivedita didi blessed with her kind words to all. She told the students to contribute something to protect our community and culture that should be our prime duty because we are nothing but expanded part of our community and culture.
Shri. Pai Daweji also addressed all the students about unique programme of indigenous faith in which they have planned to build Doni Polo Gumko at Pasighat a integrated place of worship for major five tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. This would be a great initiative to recreate the oneness among all the mass of Arunachal Pradesh.

VKV-Longding-inaugurationVKV Longding, a school exclusively for girls set up at picturesque location some 3 kilometers from Longding town began its journey towards nation building as Swami Vivekananda envisaged , here on Thursday.
The "Varsharamba Puja" program to mark the beginning of a new session was attended by Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust, Su. Aparna Didi , Education Officer VKVAPT Unikrsihnan, VKV alumni, students and their parents.
Secretary Aparna Palekar Didi, speaking on the occasion informed that VKV Longding now has joined the family of 38 other VKVs in Arunachal. She sought the cooperation of the general public , government and VKV alumni for smooth functioning of the school as she opined that the support of the parents and the local community is as important as that of student and school management team. "In that way we can uphold the image and sanctity of the school it is known for." She reiterated.
