The school building was inaugurated on 22 February 2009 however the academic session started from May 2009. The school is located at 13 Kms away from Ziro, the H/Q of Lower Subansiri district. It is a nonresidential co-educational middle school with lot of public support. At present there are classes from I to VIII.
