VKV Khazalang celebrates Independence Day with great patriotic zeal and enthusiasm on 15th August 2025. The celebration began early in the morning with a Prabhat Pheri where students, teachers, and staff marched through the nearby streets carrying the tri colour National Flag, shouting Slogans and spreading the message of unity and freedom.

After the Prabhat Pheri, everyone gathered for the flag hoisting ceremony by the Principal, followed by the singing of the national Anthem. A short speech was delivered by the principal, highlighting the significance of the day and remembering the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.
All the students and staff gathered at the general ground Khazalang, where our students performed in various activities, they presented patriotic songs, patriotic dance, local Miji Dance, and dumb bell Display, which were filled with patriotic spirit. The performance reflected the rich culture of our country and inspired everyone present there who appreciated their performances.
In connection with this, a drawing competition was organised for Class I to IV students to express their artwork on them, like National Symbols and freedom Fighters in the school.
