Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Pasighat celebrated the auspicious occasion of Vidyalaya Pravesh Pooja on 5th August 2025, with great devotion, enthusiasm and spiritual fervour. The event marked the formal Commencement of the academic year with prayers for wisdom, prosperity, and success in learning. The ceremony began at 7:45 am with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by  Donyi-Polo Yelam Kabang Prayer, also followed by Ganpati Pooja and created a spiritual atmosphere. Teachers, Students, Staff and invited guests Mananeeya Hanumantha Rao ji, Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyaumari, Su. Sujata Nayak, Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust, Sri Odhuk Tabing, Deputy Director of School Education, East Siang District, Smt. Yamo Tamut, Assistant Commissioner, DC office, Vivekananda Kendra Alumni Association East Siang Belt, and well-wishers participated wholeheartedly in the rituals.

 The VKV Oyan family,  among other distinguished guests, graced the occasion with their presence, offering their blessings and adding significance to the pooja. The Principal of VKV Pasighat addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of beginning the academic session. Mananeeya Hanumantha Rao ji gave ashir vachan. Su. Sujata Nayak Didi talked about Kendra Parichay.  
The entire school community came together to offer their respects to the Gurus and seek divine blessings for the year ahead. To bring sweetness of the programme, kheer was distributed. The Programme ends with the Shanti Mantra
