Independence Day Celebration | VKV Khazalang
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Khazalang celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great patriotic fervour on 15 August 2026 at the school playground. The programme began at 9:00 a.m. in the presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Rajesh Dajangju, National Membership Convenor, BJP (Arunachal Pradesh), and Guest of Honour, Shri Hano Sangchoju, Gaon Burah of Khazalang Village.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, followed by the National Anthem. Students presented a disciplined March Past, Samatha Display, Dumbbell and Hula Hoop displays, accompanied by the school band.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest highlighted the importance of “Unity in Diversity” and paid tribute to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices made India's independence possible.
The cultural programme showcased India's rich heritage through patriotic dances, Miji, Monpa, Bihu, Nepali and Bharatanatyam dances. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by the Principal.
The celebration was attended by the School Supporting Group, parents and villagers and concluded on a memorable note of patriotism, unity and national pride.


The Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm in our school on 26th January 2026. The celebration began with a Prabhat Pheri at 6:00 a.m., in which students and staff participated enthusiastically, carrying the National Flag and placards with patriotic messages through the nearby streets.
