VKV Tafrogam, Arunachal Pradesh, INDIA This school, started in the year 1979, was the 1st VKV devoted exclusively for the tribal girl children of this State. It is located in the Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh. This school is up to Higher Secondary Level (12th Std.) and this is the only Higher Secondary School for girls run by VKVs. This school is situated on the hilltop 15 kms. away from the Tezu town in Arunachal Pradesh, INDIA. Three of the first batch local Mishmi students of this school have taken up teaching profession in the same school is noteworthy.
