VKV Balijan SS Latest News

VKV Balijan celebrated International Yoga Day on 21 June 2019 at 7am by conducting various yogasanas including Suryanamaskar.  Both the Hostellers and Day Scholars consists of 360 students, all Sargam Camp participants, Resource persons and escort teachers and the Staffs of VKV Balijan actively performed various  asanas after the morning assembly.

Inaugural function of Sargam Camp 2019 conducted in VKV Balijan on 21/06/2019 at 9.30am in the school prayer hall. The camp is scheduled to continue from 21st June to 24th June 2019.
While addressing the camp participants, Sri. Krishna Kumar, Member VKVAPT briefed them the significance of the Sragam Camp conducted by VKV APT in every year.

VKV Balijan observed Environment Day by conducting various activities on 5th June 2019 in and around school campus.  In the morning session, nearly 100 saplings planted in the school campus by the hostellers and staff members together.  On the occasion of Environment Day, a street play competition was organized in house wise in the school.  In addition of these, to spread the message of “Save Environment,  Save Life” , a group of students were taken to Balijan town to perform a street play.  I am glad to inform you that they all won the hearts of everybody.

Sri. Amitava Mondal, Science Teacher while addressing the students in the evening prayer, throw a light on the importance of celebrating environment day, in one’s life.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Balijan conducted Class X Matri Puja on 23rd February 2019 at 11am in our Vidyalaya with religious fervour. Altogether 21 parents out of 25 attended for the same. Sri. T. M. Sathian, Principal formally welcomed the parents and Chief Guest,  Sri. Gyamde Tamin, General Secretary, VKV Alumini.    Smt. Anjali Das addressed the parents and students and throw a light on the purpose of Matri Puja before conducting Puja.  As a part of the programme, Class X students together sang a beautiful song on mother. In the feedback session, students extended their heartfelt gratitude to Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas for organizing such a heart touching programme for them.

VKV Balijan organized the programme of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0 with the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi on 29/01/2019 at 11 am.

VKV Balijan celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti as National Youth Day on 12th January 2019 in the school premises.  On this auspicious occasion, Smt. Radhelu Chai Techi, Chairperson, Women Commission, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh graced the occasion as Chief Guest.  Sri. T.M. Sathian, Principal VKV Balijan formally welcomed the honourable Chief Guest, Parents, well wishers and other dignitaries and presented a brief annual school report.

While addressing the august audience, Smt. Radhelu Chai Techi called up on the parents to be a living hero in front of their wards.  ‘Instead of embracing the western culture, it is the need of the hour to preserve our rich culture and tradition’, she said. ‘ Be a modern man  not western’, she cautioned.

As a part of the programme, the students of VKV Balijan presented beautiful cultural programmes before the audience.  Honourable Chief Guest gave away the prizes of various competition held in the school in different occasions.

Altogether,450 people witnessed the programme. Sri. B.Nagarale extended the vote of thanks.

On the auspicious occasion of “Samartha Bharat Parv”, VKV Balijan conducted a marathon race on 5th January 2019 at 6am.Altogether 126 students, both boys and girls of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Balijan, Govt. Middle school Tubung, Middle school Lenka and VKV Balijan took part in the events. School Supporting Group Members namely, Sri Techi Kaku, Su. Tana Popir, Sri Keno Tatung, Sri Bengia Tubin and Su. Nabam Dipu together flagged off the Marathon race of the Girls that was started from Dufflaguar Town to VKV gate in which 92 Girls participated in the race. Boys Marathon was flagged off by SSG Members namely Sri. Nabam Hachang and Sri Tana Sania at VKV Gate to Dufflaguar Town and back to VKV gate in which 34 boys took part in it.

Prizes of the winners are sponsored by the staff of the VKV Balijan and the same will be awarded to the winners on the auspicious occasion of Swami Ji Jayanti on 12th January 2019.
