VKV Balijan observed Swami Vivekananda Maha Samadhi Day on 4th July 2018.  Sri. S.B. Dixit Sir, Ex-Education Officer, VKV APT Dibrugarh spoke on the significance of the occasion in the morning assembly.  He highlighted the contribution of Swami Vivekananda as a social reformer and advised the students to follow the footprints of Swami Vivekananda.  As a part of the programme, the teachers and students paid a rich floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda.

In this connection, the school organised a literary programme in four categories during last period:

1. Identification of pictures ( Swami Vivekananda’s life and Vivekananda Kendra)- Classes I, & II
2. Swamiji’s Quotation Writing (minimum 20 Numbers) – Classes III, IV & V
3. Essay Writing  ( Arise, Awake: Stop Not Till the Goal is Reached) – Classes VI,VII & VIII
4. Speech Competition ( I Love My Country: India) Classes IX & X
