World Environment Day was celebrated in our School on 6thJune 2019 with great pomp and glory. The whole school (From Classes I to XII) took active part in this event. Sri S. Mossang, DFO. Division, Jairampur was the Chief Guest and Sri Taba Teni, Range Officer, Jairampur, was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. In his key note address the Chief Guest spoke on promoting Afforestation and discouraging Deforestation. He urged the younger generation especially the students community to play active role in the maintenance of the same. About 150 plants and saplings which were donated by them were planted by the students in and around the School Campus. Snacks were provided to all after the programme.

It was a red letter day for our school as on this day that is 26th July 2019 we all got to know in detail about the deadly disease called JAPANESE ENCEPHALITIES or JE. It was a programme by the NSS Unit of our school.
A special Invitee Guest Dr. DANI MANU. MO, CHC Jairampur spoke in detail about this deadly disease in the morning assembly in the presence of classes VI to XII and the teachers. She spoke on the various causative agents of this disease and the various preventive and precautionary measures to ward off this disease.
She urged the students to spread the message about this deadly disease to all their parents, friends and relatives and also to highlight about the preventive measures so that it does not turn into an epidemic for India.

Guru Poornima was celebrated in our school Premises with great happiness and joy
(1) Sri Satya Narayan Pandey, Sanskrit teacher, VKV Jairampur gave an inspiring speech in the morning assembly highlighting the role / importance of a guru in one’s life.
(2) A Swadhyaya was conducted on the occasion. The topic for the discussion was the letter from Mananeeya Nivedita Didi on Indian Culture and Guru Poornima. All the teachers were present.
(3) In the Primary section it was a unique celebration of Guru Poornima. Students prepared Tableau of the Gurus and displayed magnificently.

It is to be informed that today "World environmental day" is being celebrated by planting saplings with help of Forest Department Jairampur.
There after students and staffs of our vidyalaya planted the sapling given by Forest department

On the eve of "World Environment Day" 05.05.2019 the Hostel students and staffs of our vidyalaya had cleaning drive in and around the school premises.

The Matri Pooja for this school session for the students of Class X and XII of our Vidyalaya was conducted on 23.02.2019.
The welcome address was delivered by Sri. T. Sritharan, the Principal of the Vidyalaya also stressed the role and importance of mother in an individual's life with a few anecdotes.
Sri. Pradeep Kumar Pandey, the Cluster In Charge of Lohit and Tirap Clusters graced the occasion and introduced our mother organisation Vivekananda Kendra and VKVs in the state to the gathering in a pin pointed way by highlighting the contribution of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, in establishing the Vidyalayas in the state during thepast.
Smt. Bindu Nair, teacher of the Vidyalaya spoke on the significance of the day, which gave a vivid information about the annual event conducted in the VKVs at the secondary and higher secondary level.
The pooja was co ordinated by Sri. Kalyanam Bharadwaj, teacher of the Vidyalaya. A few parents (Mothers Fathers) shared their impression over the programme as a whole and the pooja in particular.
The attendance of the parents (Mothers) for the event is - Class X - 21 Nos, Class XII – 11 Nos.
