The Matri Pooja for this school session for the students of Class X and XII of our Vidyalaya was conducted on 23.02.2019.
The welcome address was delivered by Sri. T. Sritharan, the Principal of the Vidyalaya also stressed the role and importance of mother in an individual's life with a few anecdotes.
Sri. Pradeep Kumar Pandey, the Cluster In Charge of Lohit and Tirap Clusters graced the occasion and introduced our mother organisation Vivekananda Kendra and VKVs in the state to the gathering in a pin pointed way by highlighting the contribution of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, in establishing the Vidyalayas in the state during thepast.
Smt. Bindu Nair, teacher of the Vidyalaya spoke on the significance of the day, which gave a vivid information about the annual event conducted in the VKVs at the secondary and higher secondary level.
The pooja was co ordinated by Sri. Kalyanam Bharadwaj, teacher of the Vidyalaya. A few parents (Mothers Fathers) shared their impression over the programme as a whole and the pooja in particular.
The attendance of the parents (Mothers) for the event is - Class X - 21 Nos, Class XII – 11 Nos.

The Cluster Level Gita Chanting Competition was organized in VKV Jairampur on inviting four schools VKV Kharsang, VKV Niausa, VKV Changlang and VKV Jairampur with 52 participants in total competing for the first position in respective groups (Group-C & Group-D) under the shadow of a big tree with the beautiful background.
The high profile competition was monitored and judged by Sri. R. Krishna Kumar Sir and Sri. P.K Pandey Sir following the strict guideline set by APT. The entire participant tried their level best to reach their goal.
Throughout the contest the sprit remained very high and exciting. And the whole environment became sacred with the utterance of the sloka coming out from the heart of the participants. Overall the programme became successful one.

Parents’ Meet of the Primary Section had been arranged on the purpose of result analysis as well as discussing future course of studies taking suggestions from the parents in an open discussion. In his ‘welcome Address’ Principal Sir briefing the rich heritage of Vivekananda Kendra and its contribution in the field of education in Arunachal Pradesh. He put emphasis on the improvement of skills, say language skills of the pupils. After the introduction of the teachers teaching in the Primary Section BinduDidi, in-charge of the Primary Section explained clearly in her speech the purpose of the sitting essentially required for the benefit of the children. Urging the parents to be more vigilant about their wards, she presented elaborately a list of activities to be conducted in near future to bring overall development of the students. The scheme of activities captured the attention of the parents. Then the parents came forward to share their ideas and views making the whole discussion more vibrant and purposeful. In ‘Vote of Thanks’ Somnath Sir sum up the whole progremme after expressing his gratitude on the behalf of VKV Jairampur family to the parents for their invaluable presence. The parents left the prayer hall after taking result of their children from the concerning class-teachers.
Just as a blooming bud expands its petals in the presence of gentle breeze and sweet sun rays in the morning, a child extends his horizon of life and boundary of mind day by day with the interaction with his surroundings as well as environment. In this way of journey he requires proper guidance and support which our Vivekananda Kendra has been providing with year after year by organizing SadgamayaShibir where children have been given training how to develop their personality in a proper way. Following the tradition the school
invited the students from the nearby schools as well as the students of our school from Class-VI to Class-VIII assembling 43 participants (Boys-23, Girls-20) this year, in two-day camp inaugurating on 26th October in the invaluable presence of Sri NarendraKumarji, chief agricultural scientist of KrishiBhighan Kendra, Jairampur. In the opening ceremony Principal Sir set the tune of the whole progremme in his welcome address highlighting the need of five-fold development of children from the very early stage of their life, the same got echoed later in the larger scale in the speech given by Kalyanayam Sir, coordinator of the camp. In his ‘Ashirvachan’ the chief guest enriched the students with agricultural knowledge besides highlighting the need of agriculture as well as urging the students to help their parents as much as possible.
After the opening ceremony the students had been placed in a tight schedule with sessions coming one after another along with break. In the opening session BinduDidi after introduction of the students gave right direction how to develop their personality in a proper way keeping in mind certain essential requirements of life like discipline or positive thinking. Post lunch session included shibirgeet by ShafaliDidi and Vedic Maths by JayantaGogoi Sir. Keeping in the mind the sweet tune of the patriotic song , children kept concentration in the session when Jayanta Sir taught them Vedic Maths in an interesting manner. In the afternoon children refreshed themselves by participating in games under the monitor of Sunil Sir. After the BhajanSandhya in his session on the ‘Life of Swami Vivekananda’ Dineshan Sir enlighted children with the story of life of Swami Vivekananda and his message taking the help of audio-visual clippings. The session got concluded with ‘Group-discussion participating all in four groups on ‘merits and demerits of media’. The fatigueness of the whole day wiped out in the happy assembly when children participated in the indoor games with joy and amusement. The first day got over with so much activities and engagements.
Cultural enrichment is one of the leading principles of Vivekananda Kendra. In order to fulfill the purpose our school organized Ganesh Puja following all the rituals with the enthusiastic participation of the students, particularly the hostellers who prepared Ganesh idols showing their creativity and artistic sense. On the auspicious day, all the students assembled in the prayer hall where Ganesh idols were placed one after another surrounded by beautiful decoration with flowers and banana plants. With the utterance of mantra Kalayanam Sir brought lives in the idols and performed the rituals of the puja along with Principal Sir and Sunil Sir. Amit Sir enriched the students with stories of Ganeshji highlighting the learning lesson out of those. Then students participated in the ‘bhajan competition’ vibrating the whole prayer hall in sweet musical note. The time had been going on without being unnoticed. At the end Sunil Sir thanked all for the successfully completion of the progremme. All left the prayer hall after having blessing from the Ganeshjiand taking ‘Prasad’ in their hands.
In response to the world wide celebration of 125 th year of Swamiji’s Chicago address our school organized a progremme with the spontaneous participation of the students maintaining the grandeur of the day. The progremme was started with the lightening of the lamp by the chief guest T. Mossang, Principal of GHSS Jairampur along with our Principal Sir,T. Sritharan. Principal Sir in his ‘Welcome Address’ expressed his gratitude to the audience for their invaluable presence. In her address BinduDidi while explaining the significance of the day lay emphasis on the relevance of Swamiji’s thoughts and principles in the present day for the progress of our country. KalingTali, a student of class-VI reiterated Swamiji’s address wearing his majestic attire.Then the chief guest of the progremme presented his speech highlighting how the thoughts and ideas of Swamiji about the country brought all the people from different religions together strengthening the secular nature of our country. After his speech students from the Primary section conducted a cultural progremme including Nishi dance, patriotic song, drama and story-telling. Their performance impressed all and the prayer hall got stirred clapping after clapping. In‘Vote of Thanks’ Dinashan Sir thanked all for the successful completion of the progremme.
