1.Teachers were divided in to groups and visited the well wishers and officials and tied Rakhi. And also observed in our prayer hall with our school inmates.
2. We all offered the flowers to Maa. Eknathji as a tribute the great soul who is inspiring us. The programme was held in the prayer hall.
VKV Jairampur celebrated the 75 th Independence day by hoisting the tricolor in our school premises, Sri. Ajayakumar. P CIC hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering. Teachers sang the patriotic song " Desh ame dethahe subu kuch..". It is telecasted through google meet to the parents and students. Also conducted various online competitions for students.Ans teachers attended the common programme at jairampur general ground invited by AD

A programme had been organized in our school prayer hall at 6.00.pm. on the occasion of Guru Purnima in the presence of Sri. P.M. Unnikrishnan EO, VKV APT, Inviting the Chief (Bongte) of local Buddhist monastery being the chief guest of the programme.The Programme begin with welcome address by the Principal.In his speech on the importance of the day Sri. Amit Kumar highlighted the long tradition of Guru being the source of knowledge and light and the role of Ved Vyasa, the creator of the four Vedas.Sri. P.M.Unnikrishanan EO felicitated the chief guest.
Afterwards Pooja was performed by the Chief Guest following the Buddhist rituals. Then he explained the meaning of the slogas and gave his messages to all.The programme was witnessed by all teaching & Non-Teaching staff of the vidyalaya along with their families. The Students were attending the programme through Google Meet. Total attendees were 78 and 150 students attended through Google Meet.The programme got concluded with Prasad distribution and all left the prayer hall with blessing and happiness.


Swami Vivekananda Jayanti (National Youth Day) was celebrated in our School premises with great pomp and glory. II nd in Commanding Officer, Sri S.C. Dwivedi, 19th Assam Rifles was the Chief Guest of the occasion.
In his speech Sri Unnikrishnan sir highlighted the significance of the Day. And this year’s motto of the country: “Channelizing the Youth power for Nation Building”.
Gita Jayanti and Samarth Bharat Parva were celebrated in our school premises (Prayer Hall) with great pomp and glory on 25th December 2020 at 6.30pm, immediately after evening prayer. Earthen lamps were illuminated and the portraits of Bharat Mata and Swamiji were arranged on the altar.
At the outset “Vande Mataram”, our National Song, was sung with lead and follow. Then Sri Satya Narayan Pandey, Sanskrit Teacher, spoke on the occasion of Gita Jayanti, its significance and relevance with the great epic, the Mahabharat.
He also spoke on the beginning of the Samartha Bharat Parva highlighting India’s glory in the past, present and the prospect of her glory in the future.

In the morning School Assembly, Sri Satya Narayan Pandey, Sanskrit Teacher, spoke in detail on the Life sketch of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, highlighting and mentioning about the struggles and difficulties faced by the Founder President on the erection of the great Vivekananda Rock Memorial amidst great opposition which later turned into stepping stones of success.
The morning after the speech the students of Classes X, XI and XII and the teachers offered floral tribute to this great soul of our Motherland.
In the evening, after prayer, a Swadhyaya was conducted in the prayer Hall. The discussion was based on the topic / article sent by Maa. Nivedita Didi, Vice-President, Vivekananda Kendra.
