Swami Vivekananda Jayanti (National Youth Day) was celebrated in our School premises with great pomp and glory. II nd in Commanding Officer, Sri S.C. Dwivedi,  19th  Assam Rifles was the Chief Guest of the occasion.

• At the outset Hon’ble Chief Guest lighted the lamp and offered flowers at the feet of Bharat Mata.
• Our National Song Vande Mataram was sung by our students with great traditional fervor.
• Felicitation of Chief Guest was done by Respected Sri P. Ajaya Kumar, CIC, Tirap and Changlang Cluster.
• Welcome address and Significance of the Day was given by Respected Sri P.M. Unnikrishnan sir, EO, VKVAPT

In his speech Sri Unnikrishnan sir highlighted the significance of the Day. And this year’s motto of the country: “Channelizing the Youth power for Nation Building”.

• A Patriotic song was sung by a team of students.
• Prize Distribution (Hon’ble Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the winners of the Essay Writing Competition held on 9/01/2021)
• While addressing the august assembly Hon’ble Chief Guest, he spoke on the twin ideals of Man Making and Nation Building service rendered by VKVs in the state.
• He narrated the journey of his life from the rank of a simple soldier to the Rank of the Lieutenant Commander.
• He urged the students to have an aim in joining the Armed Forces.
• He wished everyone for success in their individual endeavor.
