Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ziro organized an Intra School Drama Competition on 29th February, 2020 at around 10.30 a.m. in the school auditorium on the theme “The Ramayana”. The drama competition was inaugurated with the lightening of the lamp followed by Manglacharan. Vice-Principal Shri Laxman Kisan Mesram addressed his welcome speech and highlighted the importance of ‘ The Ramayana’ and how through drama students can excel in dramatic skills. Total 150 students were present with all the teaching staffs in the program. A group of class ix students performed a patriotic song. After that the judges of the program were introduced by the Vice- Principal Sir. There were four team in this drama competition in which the students performed in both Hindi and English languages. The students put so much effort into the drama competition with enthusiasm and hardworking. The completion was hosted by Sri Vibhuti Prakash Mishra.

Both the judges gave their feedback to the students at the end of the program. Lastly, Su.Shri Dipali Maya Chetry acknowledged to each and every one who helped to make the program a successful and fruitful one. She also acknowledged to all the guide teachers who guided the students to make the drama as an effective one.

Chief Guest's Address:

A. Mother is everything for any creature. Mother is Godly for Indians, because mother is irreplaceable to any child in our nation.
B. Mother cares her child with profound love and joy irrespective of all odds, she faces.
C. Everyone must perform 'Padhapuja' for mother to understand her devotion and dedication by observing her foots.

The programme was organized in Assembly Ground of VKV, Ziro, wherein the stage was made locally involving hosteller boys. The programme was started at 10.30 AM and ended at 12.15 PM. Sri. Pisa Kachi, District Treasury Officer, Lower Subansiri District, Ziro, Government of Arunachal Pradesh had graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. There were 297 participants taken part in it. Their classification is as follows.

VKV Ziro observed Sadhana Diwas on 19th of November 2019 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maa. Eknathji Ranade. The programme was conducted in the morning from 8.45 AM to 9.20 AM. The portrait of Maa. Eknathji was placed in front of the assembly. Kr. Tinka Nayam of Class-VI gave the speech about the importance and significance of the day. The Principal, VKV Ziro shared few points in the auspicious occasion. Points are mentioned below:

Different meaning of Sadhana
He is known for his conviction, commitment, achiever of the goal and organizational skills along with the ability of integration.
We all should follow the principles of Vivekananda Kendra and follow his path and beliefs like discipline, committed to work, service, renunciation, respect to time, being the members of the organization.
Even after losing his memory in the last days he used to follow the daily routine and self routine.
He was a missionary and a visionary.

Students in groups recited prayers on Maa. Eknathji (Vandana Abhinandana … … …). Lastly all the students and teachers offered him flowers with prayers.

VKV Ziro observed Sadgamaya Shibir from 15th to 16th of November 2019. A total of 54 students from class VII-IX took part in it from five different schools. Sri Rubu Laliang, Principal, Hill Queen Educational Institutions, Hapoli had graced the occasion as the chief guest. Sri Taba Tatup, Chairman, VKVs Alumni Association attended the inauguration of the camp which is done with the lighting of the lamp. Sri Laxman Kisan Meshram gave the welcome address and felicitated the Guests. The participants were briefed about the purpose and objective of the camp. They were also narrated about the Kendra and its various activities which are being organized on different occasions for the well being of the society and its development through different organs of the Kendra. Sri Rubu Laliang pinpointed four essential characteristics for a good human being:

confidence,
be in yourself,
wearing good attires,
down to earth approach,
good listener and many more.

The workshop took place from 20 -24h October 2019 at VKV Ziro. The training team arrived at the venue one day before i.e. on 19th October in order to meet for fine tuning of the agenda and coordination of facilitation.

OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP:

To introduce students to exam temperament and notes making.

GMAT next level with time limit for problem solving.

Relating concept building from examination point of view.

Relating notes making to academics.

A prize distribution ceremony-cum-awareness on ill-effects of curruption was conducted on 26th of October 2019 to felicitate the winners of the written quiz competition on awareness on anti-corruption which was held on 16th September 2019. The quiz was conducted in three categories: Primary, Middle and Secondary. The top two from all the three categories were selected and they were felicitated by the dignitaries.
