Academic Activities for the Month of July -VKV Ziro

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Ziro observed Mahasamadhi of Swami Vivekananda on 04.07.2021 in a befitting manner.
This event was observed in school prayer hall in which Teachers, staff with family members took part with full enthusiasm. Shri K.Jaisankar (Cluster – In-charge) was also present in the program.

VKV, Ziro has celebrated 74th Independence Day with lots of enthusiasm, pomp and gaiety with the national fervour. The Tricolour was unfurled at 7.00 AM in the school premises followed with a brief deliberation on the meaning of Freedom and One Nation by the Principal. The team of National Anthem along with Prize winners joined the celebrations by the District Administration at Dani Kuniya Government Higher Secondary School General Stadium, Hapoli for further participation in the District Head Quarter celebrations. There was National Anthem presented by the 5 teachers of VKV, Ziro by vocal while unfurling the Tiranga. After the Independence Day speech delivered by the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Minister Er. Tage Taki, Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, there were prize distributions and welfare scheme proceedings.

VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA, Ziro in compliance with the CBSE initiated “FIT INDIA MOVEMENT” conducted several activities to celebrate the ‘Fitness Week’ in the school.
Following are the day wise activities and tasks organized by the school in this regard:

1. We initiated the programme by conducting yoga session for the young children from classes VI,VII and IX. To start with. Rajendra S Patil, ( PET )demonstrated various asanas like Bhujanga Asana, Chakrasana, Surya Namaskar etc. followed by ‘omkar chanting’. The students were made aware of various benefits of these asanas for both mind and body which include flexibility, strength, stress relief and cure of many life style diseases. The Yoga teachers encouraged the children to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives.

A Video Shoot of the Drama on the theme” Drug Abuse and Addiction” was conducted in the premises of VKV, Ziro to aware the young generation about the ill effects of addiction and drug abuse. Su. Dipali Maya Chetri coordinated the entire programme. Smt. Ramar Jokik, Officer, DIPRO (Department of Information, Public Relation and Printing) along with the camera persons took a video shoot on the drama performed by students of Class VI and VII. Apart from that the same was showcasted in Hapoli in front of the public which was appreciated by all who witnessed the programme. Smt Ramar Jokik appealed to all the students to restrain themselves from hazardous effects of Drugs and make others aware too.
