VKV Oyan SS Latest News

VKV Oyan wholeheartedly participated and conducted Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign conducted by Sille Oyan Circle office with respect to Swach Bharat Mission, an initiative by Govt. of India. On 21st September 2019, VKV Oyan did a possession in Oyan –sille village to aware about swachhata and avoids the use of plastic. We did a massive cleaning in school premise. Dr. H. Panggeng, Circle Officer, Oyan Sille visited school to take the stock of the service activities.

Under the campaign, VKV Oyan participated in the inter school drawing and Essay competition conducted by Circle Office of Oyan Sille Circle .VKV Oyan was one of the venue of the competition. Students of VKV Oyan performed well and won prizes. The prizes won under different categories by our students are tabulated below:

VKV Oyan started to recognize and felicitate students in different areas of excellence in every month to motivate them and develop competitive spirit among the students. The following students were awarded for their best performance in the month of August. The students were felicitated by Dr. H. Panggeng, Circle Officer, Sille Oyan Circle during the occasion of Universal Brother hood day celebration on 11th Sep 2019.

A meeting was conducted for the teachers to know in detail about the Ek Bharat Vijay Bharat- a Maha Sampark Karya of Vivekananada Kendra. Sri. P.G. Dodum ji, Pranth Sampark Pramukh of Arunachal State Committe of Vivekananda Kendra and Su.Shri Priyanka Didi,Prakalp Sangathak,Arun Jyoti, Arunachal Pradesh were present in the meeting. Sri. P.G Dodum ji narrated the historic construction of Vivekananda Kendra Rock memeorial by Mananeeya Eknath Ranade and establishment of Vivekananda Kendra. Su. Shri Priyanka Didi explained the importance of Maha Sampark karya how to carry out the sampark karya.

EXAM TIME

The exam of students began on 23rd Sep 2019 and will end on 3rd October 2019. For classes V,VIII,IX and X it was their 2nd periodic exam. For Classes IV,VI and VII it was their First Term Exam. Anti-Tobacco School Health Awareness programme was conducted by District Tobacco control Cell,East siang, Pasighat to create awareness among the students about the ill effects of tobacco on health and to choose tobacco free life. Dr. Tarik Talom, District Programme Officer and his team conducted a highly beneficial educative programme. The students collected lots of information on the ill effects of using tobacco and beauty of tobacco free life. The programme included speech and video show on use of tobacco and its ill effects.

Sri. Arvind Bhatt, Founder of Samvaad Institute at Jodhpur, a motivator, Talker and Trainer visited our vidyalaya on 12th Sep 2019. He took a session on “Ego” for the teachers.  For students of Class VI to VIII he took session on Public Speaking and for the student of Class IX & X he spoke on Goal and Success. Students and teachers were highly benifited by his talks and ideas of life.

Universal brotherhood day was celebrated on 11th sep commeraoting the fammous speech of Swami Vivekananada delivered in world Parliament of Religion on 11th Sep 1863 at Chicago,America. Dr. H.Panggeng, Circle Officer of Sille-Oyan circle was the chief guest of the event. In her speech she highlighted the teachings of Swami Vivekananda to the whole world and admired the work of VKV in the field of Education. Dr. H.Pangeeng also felicitated the students in different areas of excellence.

The programme was followed by cultural events. The cultural events included action song by primary students, Drama, Patriotic song, Tradition dress show, Fancy dress show,patriotic dance etc. Parents and well wishers were happy to witness the programme and appreciated.   

Mr. Tokbom Perme, President and Mr. Vijay Taram,General Secretary of East Siang VKV Alumini Association along with other Alumini members of VKV Oyan visited the school on 8th sep 2019. They were feeling so happy coming back to their school and remembering their school days. The Alumini group has interaction with all the hostel students. During their interaction they shared their good experiences, guided and motivated students to follow discipline, develop positive attitude and focus hard on their academics. Students of VKV Oyan were so happy to meet their elders brothers and curiously listening to their advices. The whole day was really very cherishable.

Teacher’s Day in India is celebrated on 5th September every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.Teacher’s Day has always been a very special day in VKV Oyan. The celebration of Teacher’s Day in VKV Oyan included honouring of teachers for their work and support, speeches by teachers extending their thanks and love to students, Classes taken by Class X students by becoming teachers, drawing and handwriting competition for teachers, musical chair competion for teachers and Caram board matches between teachers and students. The whole day was very enjoyable and a memorable one for everybody.
