An awareness programme was conducted today by a team from District medical Office Pasighat for the students of Class IX and X to make them aware about the bad effect of tobacco usage in all forms.
Universal brotherhood day was celebrated today in the school with a lot of enthusiasm and joy Sri. RK Dimen , Brigadier –Chief Engineer-Brahmanas Project graced the occasion as chief guest.
While speaking to the audience he highlighted the contribution of VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh. According to him immense contribution made by the VKVs is really changing the education scenario of the state. He also cherished his memory of visiting the school in the year 1990. He informed the parents that they have taken a right decision of sending their children in VKVs because here they are in the safe hands.
Today Independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness.

Today District level science seminar on the topic “Industrial Revolution 4.0” Are we prepare? was conducted at DDSE Pasighat.
20 schools from all over East Siang District participated in the program.
Our Student Kr. Deva Potom of class X secured 1st position among all the participants. He was assisted and guided by Sri Surjit Singh.
Km. Deva Potom will represent East Siang District in the State level which will be held on 27th August 2018 at Itanagar.
School level Science seminar was conducted today in the last 3 periods on the topic “Industrial Revolution 4.0 are we ready”. There were 26 participants from various classes (VI-X).
The participants did well in their class wise seminar and became eligible for school level competition. All participants presented their seminar paper exceptionally well.
An awareness program was conducted today in our school with respect to POSCO with the help of Govt. Agencies (Protection Officer DCPU)
While interacting with students they informed about the rules and regulations of POSCO. They also taught the students how to deal with such harassment.
A Mathematics Quiz Competition was organised today for Primary Class (III-V)

Mananiya Aparna Didi spoke on the importance of the day. While addressing the gathering she advised them that yoga must be done on a regular basis to reap the full benefit of it. She also told that yoga can help to develop the confidence and concentration. It naturally makes a person to be sensitive towards his immediate surroundings.
