VKV Jirdin has Celebrated Shri Krishna Janmastami .
It was interesting .All Teaching ,Non- Teaching and students of Jirdin village actively participated in the games.Through the programme Teaching ,Non-teaching and children learn about the Late Dhyan Chand Hockey player. They also importance of games in our life.
It was well organised Programme it gives the feeling of oneness among all. Su.Kajal Neog Phukan explain the significance of the by narrating the story of Mahabharat how Sri Krishna save Durpadi. It shows the feeling of brother and sister how the brother protect her sister. Which gives us the feeling of oneness.We are very lucky to be Indian where we can celebrate Raksha Bandhan.
75th Independence Day was celebrated in our School Campus . National Flag was hoisted at 7: 00 am by Principal Didi followed by National Anthem . She gave the speech on the significance of the Day .She explain how India got freedom from British. The British came India as a merchant but they ruled over India.How Indian Freedom fought against them how all section of the people help freedom fighter like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin ch Pal, Shri Aurobindo, Mahatama Gandhi, Subash Ch. Bose, Pt JawharllLal Nehru , Bhagat Singh, and many more freedom fighter made bound to British to leave India. But before leaving India they divide India and Pakistan. Son 15th August 1947 our India got Independence.
To the entire world is celebrating 150th birth anniversary of Sri Aurobindo Ghosh was born on 15th August 1872. He was an Indian philosopher, Yogi,Maharishi, Poet and Indian nationalist. He was also a journalist, editing newspapers like Bande Mataram. He was arrested on a charge of treason and being kept almost a year as a prisoner in Alipore jail. He work with our freedom fighters to get freedom from British.
The freedom fighters gave a free India to us now as a teacher we have to work for our country it means we are the nation builders we have to work hard for our future generation who is at present with us to make our country Jagat Guru and Atama Nirvar Bharat.
After Diidi’s speech Su. Kajal Neog Phukan read the Sankalap letter . The children of Jirdin village and our staff children sang Patriotic Song . All The Teaching staff sang Patriotic song. All Teaching , Non- Teaching Staff, children and the school construction workers offered flowers to Bharat Mata.
VKV Jirdin observed Swami Vivekananda Maha Samadhi Day at School Prayer hall. The Programme starts with three “ Om Kara’s”. Su. Indu Didi presented significance of the day and she explain the day on 4th July 1902 how Swami Vivekananda took Samadhi what was his dream for the country. At the young how Swami Vivekananda think about the nation. So as we all work in such an organization which had a dream of Swami Vivekananda “ Man Making Nation Building” we have to work for that we have to awake the peopleto work for the society and Nation. Our children is our future we have to work hard to make them a good citizen. After Didi’s speech all the teaching and non- Teaching staff offered the flowers on the Photographs of Swami Vivekananda.
On 5th morning at 8:30 am Varsharambha Pooja was done at School Prayer Hall to start our
Academic Session 2021 – 22 for smooth functioning and good result , good health of all the children,
Teaching and Non- teaching Staff of VKV Jirdin. The Pooja was performed by Smt. Meenakshi Pandey
Sanskrit Teacher, Puja starts with three “ OM Karas”, Ganesh Aradhana, Saraswati Bandana, Bhajan
was done. After Puja all the teachers offer Arati. The Puja end with “Shanti Mantra”.
All Teaching Staff , Non Teaching Staff and staff children were present.
On 21st of June, 2021 VKV Jirdin celebrated 7th International Day of Yoga at 6.15 a.m. to 7.00 a.m. in the school prayer hall. A short programme was kept which was started with three Omkaras, Om Sahanavavatu . Vacation In-charge Su. Gome Riba didi threw light and briefed on the importance of Yoga in daily life. Non-teaching staffs (bhaiyas) and their families living in the campus attended the proogramme.
Next the programme was followed by performing of the Suryanamaskara by chanting the mantras-was done by Su. Gome Riba (Vacation In-charge). Bhaiyas and their family enthusiastically followed didi and performed twelve times Suryanamaskara. The programme was concluded with Shanti mantra.
Though students could not attend the programme, it was a success, as all the students from the classes of class- IV to X could be reached and class teachers could convey and motivate them to develop this simple good habit of doing yoga in everyday life. How the simple practise of daily yoga can keep one fit in body, mind and spirit and help in remaining healthy, strong and free from diseases.
Students whole heartedly responded from classes IV to X by celebrating 7th International Day of Yoga at their respective homes and performing Suryanamaskara along with their family. Around 60% of the students actively participated in it by sharing their photos and making videos capturing the moments of their celebration and performing of Suryanamaskara with their families and relatives.
Practise Yoga. Remain fit and make our India fit.
