Today on dated 09/03/2021 International women’s Day was celebrated in our school Auditorium collaboration with ICDS Department Aalo, Due to Aalo Bandh by the
students union of Aalo, we couldn’t celebrated on 8th March. Programme was Anchored by Km. Hopi Amo Student of class X
The Chief guest of the occasion was Smt. Koj Labyang, EAC, Aalo, Resource Person Smt. Jumnyak Padu (,Extension Officer, ICDS), Smt. Tereesa Padu Lollen, Asst. Director, ( Textile and Handi craft) Alumni of VKV Jirdin 2000 batch. Smt. Rego Ado Ete, Vice President , Arunachal Pradesh women’s welfare society Aalo wings, Mother’s vision team of Aalo, Women’s wings of Jirdin village, were present in the programme.
On 4th March 2021 Slogan Writing and Poster making Competition was conducted from class VI to X in the school. On the theme Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao by ICDS Dept.
On the 6th March 2021 Elocution Competition was conducted from Class VI to X.
Topic for: class VI to VIII
- Beti Bschao, Beti pdhao India ko swarg Banaao.
- Don’t be cold girls worth more then gold.
- Girls child bring joy she is no less then a boy.
Total 42 students participated
For Class IX and X Topic :
- Every man needs a mother wife, sister then why not a daughter.
Total 28 students Participated in the competition
For Teachers Slogan Writing, Poster making competition was conducted.
14 Teachers Participated in the competition.
On 8th March Poster making Competition was conducted for class IV and V on the same topic
The winners were given Prizes and certificate of Merits by the ICDS Department on 9th of March.
The Programme starts at 10:30 am by lighting of Lamp by the Chief Guest Smt. koj Labyang , EAC Aalo. Welcome address given by Su. Indu Didi, after the welcome address welcome song presented by the students of class X. The 1st prize winner of the Elocution Competition Km. Kemsin Kato student of class VII presented her speech. Smt. Jumnyak Padu, Extension Officer, explain the theme of international Women’s Day 2021. “Choose the Challenge” and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, she explain so many Schemes for the women and girl child. After her speech Smt. Tereesa Padu ( Asst Director Textile and Handicraft) share her childhood in VKV Jirdin, she said whatever I am at present is I learn from VKV Jirdin. She recall Man. Rekha Didi, respected Radha Didi Sipra Didi , Geeta Didi, and other teachers and give her gratitude to them. She encourage the students to help junior’s and participate in all co-circular activities. After passing out from VKV Jirdin always keep in touch to the school.
The Chief Guest Smt. Koj Yabyang ( EAC Aalo) said what ever goal you set for your life. To get success hard work is very important . she explain her child hood story her father didn’t allow her to attend the school but her mother help her to enroll in school. So, mother is very important for me. Because of my mother and my hard work make me in this position.
Smt. Henjum Taso Lollen ( chief advisor of Arunachal Pradesh Women welfare Aalo wings) share her relatives story Kum Liyum Ete whose father was sick at Delhi she enroll the girl at hostel at present she is doctor. It is gift of VKV Jirdin. She said we all women should be proud that we can do any work at home and outside work too. We should stand in a good position in the society and work for Arunachal Pradesh.. After her speech Prize was distributed to the winners.
Cultural programme was presented by students of Class V, VI, VII VII, IX and X.
Patriotic song by class X, Group Dance by Class IX and Drama by class V,VI,VII,VIII and IX on the theme
‘Beti Bachao, Bet Padhao”.
Women’s wings of Jirdin village presented folk Dance . After the folk dance the teachers of VKV Jirdin presented group song.
