Swami Vivekananda`s Maha Samadhi programme

Three befitting programmes were organized on the occasion of Swamiji`s Mahasamadhi day in our school. The details of the programmes are given below:-

  The programme imbibed a positive vibration in the mind of teachers and students with the memory of Swamiji.  Swadhyaya was ended with flower offering to swamiji by all the teachers. Points of discussion.

Indian Space Research Organisation has launched a special programme for School Children called “Young Scientist Programme” “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (युविका) from the year 2019. The second session of the programme is scheduled to be held during the month of May 2020.

For this programme the list of provisionally selected candidates had been released on 10th March 2020. From VKV NEEPCO Yazali, Kr.Arnav Saikia and Kr.Adithya Kumar of class IX got selected in the first stage of screening. After certificate verification process the selected students will be trained in Northern Eastern Space Applications Centre, Shillong from 11th May, 2020 to 22nd May, 2020.

The Program is primarily aimed at imparting basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger ones with the intent of arousing their interest in the emerging areas of Space activities. This Program will include invited talks, experience sharing by the eminent scientists, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts, practical and feedback sessions.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Neepco Yazali  family celebrated Arunachal Pradesh Statehood Day here on 19th February at the school with  a   drama festival, one day before as 20th  February was holiday.  The programme was started with ‘Mangalacharan’. Sri Padbhanabhan VP spoke on the history of Arunachal statehood day . Afterwards,eight dramas were presented by the students from different classes. Chosen episodes from Ramayana,Mahabharata and puranas were depicted in different dramas. Sri Laxman Meshram & Shri Bibhuti Mishra , teachers from VKV Ziro  were judges.

Total 52 students participated for enacting the dramas.‘Yaksha & Yudhisthira’ won first prize.  ‘Eklavya’s Sacrifice & Loyalty’ , ‘ Naren & Hanu’ both secured second position. ‘Shiv Parikrama’ won the third prize.

VKV Neepco Yazali conducted Matri Puja here on wednesday at the school premises. The programme was started with the washing of mothers' feet by the students. After offering flowers to the portrait of Bharat Mata all the students of class X & XII gathered at the school auditorium along with their mothers. The Principal welcomed the gathering and.Sri Anand mohan Mishra spoke on the significance of the Matri puja. Sri Kalyanam Bharadwaj., Teacher conducted the puja proceedings. Total 39(Thirty nine) students out of 41(forty one) participated along with their mothers. A few fathers also attended the programme. A few students and mothers expressed their sober feelings experienced in the puja.

An educational tour was organised by VKV NEEPCO Yazali on 5th February 2020 where 32 class 7 students were taken to visit Biological Park at Itanagar.During the tour Smt. Dipsikha Nath (Science teacher) and Sri Vijay Thakur(Social Science teacher) guided the students. 

Techi Nancy, a VII standard student made her school VKV Neepco Yazali extremely proud this year. She impressed the judges in the state level ‘Innovation Festival’ with her extraordinary innovative idea & secured the place among the top five students from the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The selected students are going to participate in the National Level Innovation Festival-2020. On 25 to 26th January State Council for Science & Technology, a wing of Science & Technology Department , Government of Arunachal Pradesh organised the said festival in linkage with National Innovation Foundation(NIF). Sri Ameya A. Abhayankar ,IAS, Secretary, Science & Technology Department of Arunachal Pradesh was present as the Chief Guest of the programme.The dignitaries like C.D. Mungyak(Director, State council of Science & Technology,Arunachal Pradesh),Dr.Sanjeev Mazumder(Secretary NIF Delhi),Dr. Nitin Maurya (Coordinator,North East NIF),Dr. Bhula Choudury(Director,Bio-Tech Park,Guwahati),Dr. Rajeev Milli(Coordinator NIF Arunachal Pradesh) were present in that festival. Among the ten state level participants from different districts of the state Nancy was there with her unique model, ‘A School Bag Attached with Umbrella’. According to Nancy the idea is a simple way to reduce hassles of carrying umbrella separately. If anybody accepts the model can walk freehand when school bag & umbrella both are required at a time.

VKV Neepco Yazali celebrated the 71st Republic day here on Sunday at the school premises. Total 309 students, 35 teaching & non teaching staff members actively participated in that programme. In the morning at 7.45 the national flag was hoisted by the Principal followed by national anthem. In his speech the Principal focused on importance of the day & described how India became a sovereign country after the end of the imperialistic British rule. He reminded the students’ role to build a great nation or country. Afterwards there was an impressive cultural programme in the school auditorium by the students. Students from different classes created a patriotic atmosphere through their chorus singing and dances. On the other hand, the school band group went to Yachuli general ground to participate in band display & parade organised by the local civil and police administration on the same day.  

 ‘Sadgamaya Shibir’ on 28th December 2019 ,Saturday at the school library hall where the students from neighboring Government Secondary school(Pitapool) actively participated. As per VKV’s traditions the programme was started with Mangalacharan. Sri K.K.Subramanian, the Principal of the organising school welcomed the participants & their escort teachers. Later a chorus Shibir geet was sung guided by Sri Chayan Sarkar, music teacher. Afterwards main sessions were started where all the seventeen participants(standard VII-VIII) came to know about Vivekananda Kendra & its activities. They also learned interesting mathematics, glorious history of India, craft work, music, new games, etc. One documentary film on Cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh was shown to the students.The teachers like Sri Kalyanam Bharadwaj , Sri Anand Mohan Mishra, Sri Dhrubajyoti Nath,Smt. Mridu Boruah, Sri Padmanabhan V.P. , Sri Chayan Sarkar , Sri Jaikihan Jaiswal & Sri Sumit Dhar took all the sessions successfully. In the evening during valedictory function certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants and the escort teachers were felicitated by the Principal. Sri Badri N. Mishra, Teacher gave vote of thanks. The whole programme was concluded with Shanti Mantra.
