Independence Day Celebration - VKV Neepco Yazali
Amidst the growing cases of COVID-19 in our country, the NSS unit of VKV NEEPCO YALALI organized an awareness campaign against COVID -19 on 12th April 2021, Monday at 43, Yazali, Lower Subansiri District on the occasion of ‘Tika Utsav’ between April 11-14 announced by the Prime Minister of India. NSS volunteers raised slogans against corona virus: ‘Save life –Save Nation’, Vaccinate against corona virus’ etc.
NSS Program Coordinator Sri. Padmanabhan organized the programme. He explained the purpose and objective of the campaign to make people aware of the vaccine. He emphasized the Mantra of "Dawai bhi, Kadhai bhi" which will help us to defeat this pandemic situation.
It was organized on 20th March on the occasion of world happiness day to create scientific temper among the students of class VIII, XI and XII. 47 students and 5 teachers were part of this one day programme and visited Science centre Itanagar. Students were enthusiastic and used the time to clarify their doubts with their escort teachers and mentors of the centre. Students visited gallery on emerging technologies, gallery on fun science and Taramandal, an inflatable dome planetarium. At last, out in the air in science park students enjoyed with specially designed exhibits placed aesthetically in the natural surroundings.
A great spiritual atmosphere was created in the school on the occasion of Saraswati puja . The ceremony started at 8.30 for the students of class I to V and 11.30 for the students of class VI to XII. A number of 350 students, 31 staff with 15 family members and 35 parents and well wishers participated in this great auspicious event following COVID-19 S.O.P. Smt.Shefali Bharadwaj and Pinky chetri delivered speech on the significance of the day. Sri. KK Subramanian,Principal VKV Yazali conveyed Saraswati puja messages to students and parents .At the end of the puja prasadam was distributed to all.
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya NSS Unit Yazali organized an interactive session on the topic - Adolescents Health problems with the help of Community Health Centre yazali. Dr. Toko Popu interacted with the children and reminded the changes happened in the world after the spread of Covid 19. She asked the students to share their problems with friends and relatives to control stress .A number of 91 students from class IX to XII and 15 teachers participated in this programme and got benefitted. Sri. KK Subramanian ,Principal extended vote of thanks to Dr. Toko Popu for providing an opportunity to our children to be a part of this national programme.
The significance of the day was shared by Sri. Padmanabhan VP,Social Studies Teacher and Kr. Tao Gomb,Class-X. An online Quiz competition on Arunachal Pradesh was organized by the NSS unit,VKV Yazali where 68 students from class VI to XII participated. Sri Kamal Patar, Fine arts teacher conducted drawing competition on the occasion in which 50 students from primary and middle classes portrayed cultural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh.
The 72nd Republic day was celebrated in our school with colorful programmes. The glory of our nation and the sacrifice of the people for the freedom of our nation were sparkling in the mind of the students and teachers during the entire programme. At 8.15, National flag was unfurled by the Principal, VKV Yazali followed by sharing of Republic day messages. A rhythmic Drill was organized for all the students that were well planned by Smt. Kusum Jaiswal. The cultural events were mind blowing which included two dances , Patriotic song by teachers and students and speech by student. There were 106 students, 26 teaching and three non teaching staff as the participants of this National festival. The programme ended with shantimantra
