Sat-Gamaya Shibir ( Personality Development Camp) was oganised by VKV PTC Banderdewa where in a total no. of 145 participants signed up their names from nearby schools among which were 68 boys and 77 girls.

VKV PTC Banderdewa conducted a School Level Exhibition for Primary Classe.On 31 October 2015 in the prayer hall. Altogether, 76 students from Classes I-V translated their noble thoughts into beautiful models and pictures. 72 parents also witnessed the programme.Parents expressed their happiness by encouraging all the kids by airing their words of appreciation directly to one and all. It helped them to bring up their confidence level.
Yuva Sammelan Kum B Radha Devi, Joint Secretary addressed the Yuva Sammelan Organised for the trainees of the Police Training Centre at Banderdewa under the beautiful canopy of teak forest in PTC campus on 23rd August 2013. Sri Tasso Sira, DFO Banderdewa and the Convener, SVSSS and T.Ringu, Principal PTC Banderdewa were the other speakers. 600 youth along 35 Police Officers, teachers & SVSSS School Ayojan Samiti members of VKV PTC Banderdewa were present for the programme. The rapt attention of Youth, who are going to be the custodian of law in our state, towards the speeches delivered was notable thing about the programme.
As a part of Mananeeya Eknathji Janma Shati Parva (MEJSP) celebration, VKV Banderdewa conducted a traditional Dance and Drama Competition.

Highlight of Chief Guest’s Address:He highlighted the significance of traditional Dances and unique costumes. “Traditional dance and unique costumes are our identity” he said. This rich tradition must be preserved for our existence as well as for next generation, he continued. He expressed his deep appreciation to the state organizers and VKV’s in particular for organizing such type of programmes.
Result:The “Galo Neli Komji” group (PTC) has been adjudged as the winner team and qualified to attend the District level competition.


A Medical Checkup Camp, especially for eye-checkup, was organized on 18th of August 2015. A team of five members comprising with eye specialists as well as other medical members conducted the same examining thoroughly the eye vision of the students.
Altogether 313 students (Classes I to X) were benefitted and provided spectacles and medicines to the needy children free of cost. Doctors advised the children to take proper care of their eyes and to undergo consultation of eye specialists if necessary in future.
Police Training Centre (PTC) Banderdewa in co-ordination with VKV PTC Banderdewa observed International Yoga Day on 21st June in PTC premises. Nearly 200 people participated consists of VKV students and teaching staff, recruits and officials. Inspector Sri. Uma Ngomle Cammander STF welcomed the participants. ITC Banderdewa highlighted the importance of yoga in one’s life. “Yoga can help you deal with a variety of issues, it is total body exercises rather it will help us to master breathing properly”, he said .As a part of the programme, VKV students demonstrated selected yogasanas in front of the well attended audience. Sri. M.Riba Addl.SP PTC, Sri. T.M. Sathian Principal VKV PTC and Sri. N. Kalita, CDI PTC were present during the yoga demonstration.
