The program began with the chanting of three Omkaras follwed by Eikyamantra 'Om Sahanavabatu'.

Rakshabandhan was celebrated in VKV BANDERDEWA on 03/08/2020
All the teachers were present except Shri Prashant Neog and Shri Tako Siga.
Importance of Rakshabandhan was briefly delivered by Shri Govind Vishwakarma.
All the female Teachers tied Rakhi in wrist of male teachers and the male teachers tied Rakhi in wrist of female Teachers.
All the teachers tied Rakhi around the trunks of trees available in the school campus.
Later on regular Swadhyay was followed.
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya PTC Banderdewa Celebrated 157th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day with pomp and gaity here at Banderdewa. The Chief Guest of the Celebration Dr. Gyamnya Baki Garam, Senior Veterinary Officer, Nirjuli associated with Shri. Gyamar Karu, Social Worker followed by Shri. Kipa Hipik Social worker.
The Chief Guest delivered a short speech mentioning the contribution of Swamji and motivated them to follow the teachings and ideas of Swamiji.
All the students and techers enthusiastically participated in it. The Band troop of the School was an attention drawing part of the programme. The Rally started from 5/1 Nyokum Ground Banderdewa with the flag off by the Chief Guest and culminated at the school Campus.
The principal of the school welcomed the gathering and briefed about the celebration.
Speech was delivered by Shri. K.K Dutta one of the Teacher of the School on importance of the day.
Aarati of Bharatmata was lead by Shri. Govind Vishwakarma with full devotion.The Students, teachers and local Residents took part in the programme. Approximately 410 numbers of people witnessed the celebration.
On 26th day of November 2019 IPS ( shri. Vikas Kumar ) visited 1st time at VKV PTC Banderdewa as motivational speaker. He interacted with all the staff of VKV PTC Banderdewa and students of Class- IX & X.
We are very glad to inform you that two of our students participated in the painting competition organized by NHPC on 14th November 2019 at Don Bosco youth center vivek vihar. Kr. Chukhu Teji of class-VI received 1st prize and Kr. Lokhi Dada of class-IX received consolation prize.
