Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration - VKV Emrs Bana
The celebration of Gandhi Jayanti was well planned. The incharge of the program managed everything perfectly. The celebration of Gandhi Jayanti was done in EMRS Bana today. All the student and staff of school participated in the programme. Sweet was distributed to all.
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration - VKV Emrs Bana
Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in EMRS Bana in grand way. A statue of lord Ganesha was prepared by Bhaiyas. All the staff and family members were present.
Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration - VKV EMRS Bana

Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated in EMRS Bana. The students and parents were present along with the school staff.
Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebration - VKV Emrs Bana
The program for celebration of Krishna janmashtami was well planned, organized and executed. The agenda was followed and everything happened within stipulated time.Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with full fervour in school prayer Hall. All the teaching, non-teaching staff and family members were present. A ward of the staff was dressed as Krishna.
Rakshabandhan and observation of Maneenya Ekhnath Ranade ji punyatithi and Sanskrit Diwas.
22nd August 2021: On this auspicious day of Shravan Purnima the festival of Rakshabandhan was celebrated in Ekalavya Model Residential School, Bana. Also the Punyatithi of Maneenya Ekhnath Ranade ji and Sanskrit Diwas was observed simultaneously.
A small program was arranged to celebrate and understand the true essence of this festival and the sacred relationship of a brother and a sister.
The program started with three Omkaara followed by Sahanabhavatu. Sri. R. Krishnamoorty, Principal In Charge. Lit the traditional oil lamp to mark the beginning of the program. He offered flowers and Rakhi to the portrait of Ekanathji and swamiji.
The in charge for today's program was Sri Rakesh Petkar. Sri. Narayan Sarkar delivered the speech and highlighted the importance of the day in various aspects. In his speech he beautifully explained the meaning of the tradition of tying a holy thread 'Rakhi' around the wrist of brothers by the sisters. He further added that this tradition symbolizes Raksha which means protection and Bandhan which means bond. Thus Rakshabandhan is a bond of protection given by a brother to his sister. He also paid homage to the great soul of Bharat Mata through his speech. He further laid emphasis on sanskrit diwas. He added that sanskrit is the oldest and the most holy language among all the known languages of the world.
After his speech all the staff tied Rakhi to each other with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Today's program conveyed the message of purity, unmatched bond of love, care and respect between siblings.

Independence Day Celebration - VKV Emrs Bana
Celebration of 75th Independence Day 2021.
This year as on 15th August 2021 the celebration of 75th Independence Day was held in a mesmerizing way in the campus of Ekalavya Model Residential School, Bana. The function on this occasion began in the morning in school premises which were beautifully decorated with flowers and festoons. Shri Shankarshan Mohapatra, Principal,EMRS Bana hoisted the national flag sharp at 7:00 am. All the teachers and staffs saluted the flag and then sang the National Anthem with nobody moved honoring it. The Principal delivered a short speech. He told about the supreme sacrifice and the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of freedom. He also said that the freedom was very precious and it is very necessary to preserve it. Then followed the Patriotic Song recited by the teachers of EMRS, Bana.
In the end of the ceremony, sweet-balls ( laddoos) were distributed among all the staff present.
Guru Purnima Celebration - VKV Emrs Bana
Guru Purnima was celebrated in EMRS ( VKV) Bana ,in presence of Sri.Sankarshan Mohapatra , principal EMRS Bana , teaching staff along with the family members.
A local pujari Sri.Salu sopung ji was invited for performing puja rituals.
The celebration started with the Three Omkaaras followed by Sahanavabhathu .Sri Sankarshan Mohapatra, principal EMRS. delivered a breif introduction about Guru Purnima. In his speech he highlighted the importance and age old tradition and reason behind the celebration of Guru Purnima.
A couple of Guru Bhajans were sing with full devotion.
Sri. Salu sopungji performed the puja in local traditional way and chanted few traditional hymn.
Vote of thanks was presented by Sri.Avinash kumar Sah. To mark the end of the program Shanthi Mantra was chanted followed by Kendra prayer. All the end prasad distribution was done.
