On 03-08-2020, EMRS Bana observed the Raksha Bandhan program in School Campus. The program started with three OMKARAS and SAHANABABTU. All the Staff members with a common idea of bonding a Rakhi to the Nature and tied Rakhi to the Plants in order to strengthen the bond between Nature and human beings. The motive behind this is to take care of the nature as it is a provider of food and life substances to one and all. Total no. of 21 members were present in the observation. The Principal welcomed all Staff members and the significance of the day was highlighted by Sri. Rakesh Vitthal Petkar, Teacher EMRS Bana.

Guru Purnima was celebrated in EMRS Bana at 07:30 AM on 05-07-2020 in the presence of Sri S. Muralidharan(E.O.) VKVAPT , Smt. K. Amudhavalli, Principal EMRS Bana and all the staff members along with family members.
A local pujari Sri. Salu Sopung ji was invited for performing puja rituals.
The program started with three Omkaras followed by Sahanavavatu. Smt K.Amudhavalli , Principal EMRS Bana delivered a brief introduction about Guru Purnima, in her speech she spoke about age old tradition and importance behind the celebration of Guru Purnima. Sri. Rakesh Vitthal Petkar,Teacher EMRS Bana highlighted about the significance of the day where in he spoke about Sage Vedvyasa. He also shared the gist of the letter from Mananeeya Nivedita Didi on Guru Purnim. Gurustotra was played on mobile followed by meditation and Guru Bhajan.
Introduction of Pujari was done by Sri. Rudra Prasad Upadhyay and Sri. S. Muralidharan Sir facilitated the Pujari.
Sri. Salu Sopung ji performed the Puja in local traditional way and chanted few local traditional hymns.
Vote of thanks was presented by Sri Avinash Kumar Sah. To mark the end of the celebration Shanti Mantra was chanted followed by Kendra Prayer. Prasad distribution was done by Sri. Dilip Dutta Sir to all.

Education seminar was conducted in EMRS , Bana on the topic 'What does it mean to be a Model Residential School' . Under this main topic total 11 teachers participated; which comprise of 9 teachers from EMRS. Bana and 2 teachers from VKV , Wessang with various concepts. The concepts and the views are a follows;

The Programme was attended by Sri Muralidharan , Education Officer , VKVAP Trust , Dr . Ravikant Alteker and Sri Sanjib Kar ,Principal VKV , Wessang . The programme was initiated by describing the objectives of the Seminar by Sri Muralidharan Sir and at the end views and suggestins with guidelines were given by Sri Sanjib Kar and Dr Ravikant Alteker sir respectively.

EMRS,Bana celebrated Saraswati Puja on 29-01-2020. The Puja was performed by Sri Narayan Sarkar the Sanskrit Teacher . After the Puja, arati and flower offering was done by students and staff members and followed by Prasad distribution.

There were 117 Students and 9 Teachers and 2 wardens were present.

‘The National Youth Day’ programme was celebrated along with VKV Wessang and KGBV in the EMRS, Bana School premises.

The Chief Guest was Sri Mama Natung ji , Minister of Sports and Youth affairs, Water Resources, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and the other guests were Sri Sarvagananda Maharaj ji, secretary of R.K. Mission, Sri Pravimal Abishek IAS, ADC of Seppa, V Kendra elders – Mananeeya Aparna Didi, Secretary of APTrust, Sri Rupesh Mathur ji, Joint Secretary, Shri Muralidharan E.O., Principal of VKV Wessang and Principal of KGBV, all teachers, and students

The Samarth Bharat Parva was observed in our School EMRS, Bana. On this day, a speech on the significant of the day was delivered by our Principal Smt. K. Amudhavalli in the morning assembly. After the assembly there was flower offering by both Teachers and Students followed by Bharath mata Aarthi.

The Indigenous Faith Day was celebrated in our school EMRS, Bana. A speech on the importance of the Day was delivered by our Principal In-charge Sri Rudra Prasad Upadhyay highlighting about the need of Celebration of the Day and the Contribution of Sri Talom Rukbo not only for promotion of Indigenous faith but also as Language Officer and as employee in the SSB during the time of Chinese aggression. It was followed by Traditional Song competition in which the participants vividly narrated the gist of their song and presented the group song .
