Guru Purnima was celebrated in EMRS ( VKV) Bana ,in presence of Sri.Sankarshan Mohapatra , principal EMRS Bana , teaching staff along with the family members.
A local pujari Sri.Salu sopung ji was invited for performing puja rituals.
The celebration started with the Three Omkaaras followed by Sahanavabhathu .Sri Sankarshan Mohapatra, principal EMRS. delivered a breif introduction about Guru Purnima. In his speech he highlighted the importance and age old tradition and reason behind the celebration of Guru Purnima.
A couple of Guru Bhajans were sing with full devotion.
Sri. Salu sopungji performed the puja in local traditional way and chanted few traditional hymn.
Vote of thanks was presented by Sri.Avinash kumar Sah. To mark the end of the program Shanthi Mantra was chanted followed by Kendra prayer. All the end prasad distribution was done.
