Outreach Program at Hutho Middle School by VKV Raga
January 9, 2024, marked a special day at Hutho Middle School, Yada, as the school hosted an outreach program organized by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV), Raga, in celebration of Vivekananda Jayanti, also known as National Youth Day. The program brought together students, teachers, and guests in a vibrant celebration of Swami Vivekananda’s life and ideals.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Smt. Osi Bayor, Arunachal Pradesh Vikas Parishad Mahila Saha Pramukh, a moment made even more meaningful by the chanting of the Shanti Mantra. The air was filled with anticipation as students of Class V from VKV Raga then performed the soulful welcome song, Jinke Ojasvi Charano Se.
Shri Rameshwar Singh, one of the teachers-in-charge from VKV Raga, followed with an enlightening address on the significance of the day. His words resonated deeply with the young audience, encouraging them to imbibe Swami Vivekananda’s teachings in their daily lives. The atmosphere turned lively as students of Hutho Middle School took the stage for a vibrant dance performance, reflecting the cultural richness and enthusiasm of the host school.
A formal felicitation of the guests was conducted next, honoring the visiting team for their efforts in fostering values and cultural ties. Shri Ganesh Bhat, Principal of Hutho Middle School, addressed the gathering with heartfelt words of gratitude. He praised the initiative by VKV and acknowledged the profound impact such programs have on nurturing young minds.
As the program drew to a close, Shri Dibaker Saha, the other teacher-in-charge from VKV Raga, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. The assembly then united in the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, followed by the Bharat Mata Aarti.To further engage the students, an essay-writing competition on the life of Swami Vivekananda was held after the program. 50 students participated, showcasing their knowledge and admiration for the revered leader.
The program was a testament to the collaborative spirit and shared cultural identity between the two schools. With full attendance from the students of Hutho Middle School and unwavering support from their teachers, the event strengthened bonds and inspired everyone to uphold the values Swami Vivekananda envisioned for the youth of India.
