The school has celebrated International Yoga Day on 21.06.22 in a befitting manner in the prayer hall. The program started at 7.30 am with Mangalacharan. The welcome speech and importance of the day was highlighted by Sri Nandalal Sarma. The program was graced by the chief guest Dr. Elizabeth Dupak   (Circle Officer Dollungmukh) and twelve well-wishers from Dollungmukh area.  The Chief guest also made a speech on the importance of yoga. Sri Sanjeeb Kumar Kar, principal of the vidyalaya felicitated the guest. After the felicitation, yoga demonstration was conducted by Sri Ranjan Kumar Chaudhoury, PET. All the teaching, non-teaching staff members, students, chief guest and all the well-wishers actively participated the program. Total attendance 228.

There was a procession in the Dollungmukh area. The procession was as per the plan. The villagers also participated actively in programme.

All the participants actively participated in the competition.NHPC Gerukamukh provided vehicle for the competition which was held at Raga.

Sri Atul Bhargav sir appreciated the work of Vivekananda Kendra all over the country. Sri Bengia Guma sir briefed the life and messages of Swami Vivekananda and highlighted the universal Brotherhood.

The importance of the day was highlighted in the program. A small cultural program was organized.Chicago address was also delivered by one of the student of class-VIII.
