Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated in VKV DOLLUNGMUKH with full enthusiasm and fervour. Sri T. Gapak, Former IFS, and Sri Nabam Tarang, SDO, DOLLUNGMUKH, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. The programme was organised in the School's Prayer Hall in the presence of well-wishers, parents, Sankul members, and SSG members.

The major highlights of the celebration were the Artistic Yoga presentation and the Dance performance on the teachings of Sri Krishna.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri N. Tarang, SDO, DOLLUNGMUKH, urged the parents to support the institution as pillars and reminded the teachers to fulfill their responsibility with honesty and integrity. While Sri T. Gapak, Chief Guest for the event, shared, " Role of VKV is immense in the growth and development of Arunachal Pradesh, and students must follow the rules and regulations of the school and obey their elders."

Guru Purnima, the birthday of Maharishi Ved Vyasa, was celebrated in the school in the presence of family members, children, and staff members. The programme was graced by Sri Bini Lilly, Nyubu, and Dollungmukh Namlo.

The Nyubu performed his Puja and did the indigenous chanting for the well-being of the students and staff members of the school. To mark the occasion, a drama on Guru Shisya Parampara was presented by the students, and a Bhajan Competition was organised.

VKV Dollungmukh celebrated Swami Vivekananda Janmatithi in befitting manner. The programme started with the arrival of Chief Guest Shri. Bengia Guma,Deputy General Manager,NHPC as well as the member of VKVAA. The welcome address was given by Shri KV Dineshan, Principal VKV Dollungmukh. The other invitees were the parents, well-wisher, Sanguls members and the students of nearby school.
Shri.Bengia Guma ,DGM in his speech appealed the parents to co-operate with school authority. He also highlighted the life and work of Swami Vivekananda, a great social reformer of India. He stressed on the role of youth in the society. He appealed the youths to fulfil the dream of Swami Vivekananda to make India a Jagat Guru. There were the galaxy of cultural programmes and Prize distributions ceremony. The parents as well as the children enjoyed the programme with full of enthusiastic.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Dollungmukh, has planned and executed the SAMARTH BHARAT PARVA celebration 2024-25. This Parva is observed every year from 25th December to 12th January every year to awaken national consciousness among the youth focusing on the strengths of our nation. To make the parents aware about the objectives of the celebration short videos were made and shared through WhatsApp and compiled and stored to show on parents visiting day.

The programme was concluded with organising programme in two targeted locations. The first program was conducted on 9th January 2025 at Hime village near NHPC. The second was conducted on 12th January at Arundeva School at kalaptukar. The village people were organised for the same as committee.

The school has celebrated National Youth Day 2025 on 09.01.2025 and 12.01.2025 in a befitting manner. The programme was conducted in two different venues – a) Hime Village and b) Arundeva School,Dollungmukh.
The programme at Hime Village was graced by Sri Jarcham Ngomle, Head Goan Bura Kanku, Shri Moli Doke, Headmaster Hime Upper Primary School and other members as the Special Guest.

The school has celebrated International Yoga Day on 21.06.22 in a befitting manner in the prayer hall. The program started at 7.30 am with Mangalacharan. The welcome speech and importance of the day was highlighted by Sri Nandalal Sarma. The program was graced by the chief guest Dr. Elizabeth Dupak (Circle Officer Dollungmukh) and twelve well-wishers from Dollungmukh area. The Chief guest also made a speech on the importance of yoga. Sri Sanjeeb Kumar Kar, principal of the vidyalaya felicitated the guest. After the felicitation, yoga demonstration was conducted by Sri Ranjan Kumar Chaudhoury, PET. All the teaching, non-teaching staff members, students, chief guest and all the well-wishers actively participated the program. Total attendance 228.
