VKV Yingkiong SS Latest News

Varsharambha Puja was conducted in the beginning of the academic session 2019-20 to start the session with hope and prosperity at VKV, Yingkiong on 20th may 2019. The program was started at 9:10 am and continued upto 10 am. It took place in the school prayer hall. The Puja started with  three ‘Om’ karas and shanty mantras. It was followed by chanting of Saraswati bandana and mantras with their lucid explanation done by Bikash Sahu Sir. Then Kendra Prarthana lead by Bikash Sahu Sir was sung by all the students and teachers. Lastly, the programme was ended with the valuable speech of Madan Sarkar Sir, the principal of the school.

The school has celebrated the 70th Republic Day in befitting manner on 26 th Jan.2019. All the students and teachers reported at 5.30 am. The program started with Prabhat pheri from school at 6 am via lower market , upper market area and reached back to school at 7 am. The flag hoisting was done at 7.05 am in the School Assembly ground by  Principal sir with  national anthem followed by importance of the day. After that at 7.15 am our band and march past troops went to Govt. Hr. Sec. School ground to participate in the parade. At 8 am, the participating students were taken to the general ground to participate in march past, band, drama and Yoga cum PT display . For the first time  our students of VKV Yingkiong took part in exhibition stall on  photo panels along with some scientific working models. The students of VKV Yingkiong took part in four events and able to beg first position in march past and PT display cum yoga. One of our student was awarded for getting  first position in drawing and painting competition which was organized by ICDS, Yingkiong on 6/02/2019  on the theme of “Beti Bachao Beti padhao:”

The Matrti Puja for the outgoing students of the class-X was conducted on 15/02/2019 in the school Prayer hall. The program was attended by Shri Krishna Kumar, VKVAPT Dibrugarh and Shri Ajay Kumar, Cluster In-charge of Siang Cluster. After receiving all the mothers with tilak and Chandan , the program was started with mangalacharan. After the welcome speech by the Principal VKV Yingkiong, Sri Krishnakumar, VKV APT Dibrugarh briefed the significance of Matripuja and lead the Puja. All the students followed Krishnakumar sir and whole heartedly perform the puja and took blessings from their mother. All the students as well as their mothers were found to be emotional during the Puja as they were experiencing it for the first time. Before the end of the program some students shared their experiences and finally concluded the program by Shanti mantra.

KR BHIKUNAM DARANG a class X students of VKV Yingkiong won the 3rd Position in the Archery Competition 2018 organized by The Ninth Garhwal Riffles of Indian Army Yingkiong today on 21st November 2018.

Total 11 students of VKV Yingkiong including Km. Geying Panyang, a class X girls participated in the competition and brought the glory for the school showing the interest in Indian Army. Total 103 students from Siang Valley covering both Yingkiong and Passighat participated in the competition in which Km. Geying Panyang was the only girls to participate in the said competition.

Km.Bhikunam Darang will participate in the next upper level of competition which will be held on 2nd December 2018 at Passighat of East Siang District.

The school has observed the Eknathji Jayanti in befitting manner . The programme was conducted in the school assembly ground. The photo of Man.Eknathji was placed in front of assembly ground with lighted Diya and garland. The life and work of Man.Eknathji was briefed by two students of class VIII namely Kr. Kalom Modi and Km. Oter Siboh. The library weeks also formally inaugurated in the morning assembly keeping the speech by the students on the life and work of the great man Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade. Just after the speech there was a patriotic song from the students of class-VII

After the Assembly all the students from KG to X offered flowers to the Photo of Mananeeya Eknathji and did pranam one by one and went to their respective classes.

On the occasion of Eknath Jayanti, a house wise badminton competition(Doubles) was conducted among the boys and girls of class IX and X students in last two periods. Other students enjoyed the match with full spirit encouraging their houses.

Thus, the day of Eknathji Jayanti observed successfully by games and inaugurating the Library weeks 2018.

Annual Sports Meet 2018 for the session 2018-19 was held in the School for two days i.e. 14th & 15th November 2018 .The Sports Meet was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest Sri Annying Boli , The Divisional Forest Officer Yingkiong, at 8:30 am on 14th Nov 2018.

In the inaugural function he presented with cash amount Rs. 20000/- ( Rupees twenty thousand only)for the infrastructural development school’s . Moreover he assured to award the topper of the school in class X CBSE Examination 2019 of the session 2018-19. After the speech he declared the Annual Sports Meet Open.

The various sports events were kept on 14 th and 15 th Nov.2018 and some Final events were kept for 15 th Nov 2018 as it was the Concluding ceremony. The competition was House wise in which all the groups such as Midget, Sub-junior and Junior participated actively in the different events. The details of the various sports events conducted during the two days sports meet were as follows:

Thus, the Annual Sport Meet, 2018 was completed smoothly and successfully.

The Sadgamaya Shibir 2018 was conducted on 28 th October 2018 in the school. To conduct the Shibir, total 4 schools including Govt and Private schools of Yingkiong were covered by giving formal letter to the heads of the institution for sending the students from class VI to VIII for the participation. The response of all the schools were very good and total 64 students from 4 schools participated in the Shibir and one school could not participate due to their examination. The students of Class VII & VIII of VKV Yingkiong also participated. The Shibir was formally inaugurated at 9:00 am by the Chief Guest Sri Gamin Jiji SSG as well as Dist. BJP President of Upper Siang District. Two resource persons namely Sri Komin Borang, Block Education Officer Yingkiong and Sri Gebuk Burang , A.E.PHE Yingkiong were also present in the inaugural function of the camp.

The school has celebrated Teacher’s Day in befitting manner today. All the teachers under the leadership of principal, vkv Yingkiong, led the Morning Assembly. The Assembly Morning News, Thought Presentation, etc were conducted as usual. The Teacher’s Day programme was conducted in the school prayer hall where the importance of the day as well as the rest agenda continued. There were the acting teachers from the senior students and they took classes in lower classes. The overall in-charge of the programme was Shri Bikram Chetry, teacher.

In the afternoon, there was a Volley ball match played between Class IX-X students Vs teachers and all the students cheered up the match.
