VKV Tafrogam has celebrated Sri Krishna Janmastami

VKV Tafrogam celebrated India's 75th Independence Day on 15th August 2021in the school. The celebration began at 7:15 am in the morning in the school field. The total number of participants in the programme were 32 including students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff and their families. The Day began with the flag hoisting by the principal and then National Anthem was sung. Next, a speech was delivered by the principal on the significance of the day. Afterward, a patriotic song- 'Desh Humein Deta Hai Sab Kuch' was sung followed by Sankalp on 75 years of Independence by the participants of the programme. Then flowers were offered to Bharat Mata. The celebration ended with sweet distribution ceremony .
A number of competition was conducted for the students of class IV to X through online mode which included-
I) Essay Writing Competition(Hindi) on 'Swatantrata Ka Amrit Mahotsav' for classes IX and X. The total number of participantswere 34.
II) Speech on 'My Favorite Freedom Fighter' of 3-5 minutes for class VIII. The total number of participants were 15.
III) Quiz Competition on 'India's Independence' for class VII. The total number of participants were 39.
III) Fancy dress competition for classes IV and V. The total number of participants were 40. JAI HIND
Our school celebrated Guru Purnima on 23rd of July, 2021 to pay homage to the great Guru Vyasa, to discus and remind the participant of the great Indian history and Ancient Gurus.

The day was celebrated with Swadhyaya conducted in the afternoon, along with a small programme in the evening. The programme, hosted by Su Roshni Vishwakarma , started with Invocation followed by significance of the day by the Principal Smt Shanthi Manoharan. Four bhajans were sung. Two of them were sung by students of class X (Online) and the remaining two by the staff (Offline). The programme ended with Kendra Prayer.there were three competitions organized online: 1. Drawing competition for class IV & V , 2. Bhajan competition for VI,VII & VIII, and 3. Poem writing competition for class IX & X.The programme was held both Online and Offline.

Chief Guest :Smt.Jalli Umpo - EAC, Lohit Cluster, Arunachal Pradesh
Smt.Jalli Umpo ia an alumini of VKV Tafrogam. She she passed class X from VKV Tafrogam in 1996.
The programme began with lighting of the lamp by chief guest followed by invocation, song sung by class IX students. Principal Smt.Shanthi Manoharan welcomed the gathering and spoke on the importance of Matru Puja.Class X students presented a beautiful song. Later Chief Guest in her address appreciated VKV’s for conducting such programs where daughter mother relationship is given much importance. Matru Puja will become the most memorable day on their life and they will cherish it in future too. She also spoke on the campaigning going on against Drug Addiction in Arunachal Pradesh especially in Lohit District. Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey performed the puja. Entire atmosphere was filled up with divine ambience. After the puja the parents shared their experience and expressed gratitude towards the school. They also spoke on the quality education given by the school. The program ended with Shanti Mantra.
The 72nd Republic day was celebrated on January 26th 2021 at the school grounds of VKV Tafrogam with full enthusim. The event began with the flag hosting by our Principal Smt.Shanthi Manoharan followed by the National Anthem. The students of classes IX & X played Biggul and also presented a patriotic song. The teachers too added rhythmically to the patriotic tunes by presenting a patriotic song. Principal Smt.Shanthi Manoharan highlighted on the significance of the day and made the children aware that the future of the country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well now and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country.
With great enthusiasm and gaiety,universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated at VKV Tafrogam. The programme started at 11:30 am,after the programme of Vivekananda Kendra at Kanyakumari ,where MananeeyaBalakrishnanji,the present president of Vivekananda Kendra and Rock Memorial at kanyakumari,shared his thoughts and messages to the large audience across the country.Thestaffs of VKV Tafrogam could become the part of this mega event.
In our school level celebration,MadamNyamiTayang,the wife of (Late) Agriculture minister of Arunachal Pradesh cabinet and the co-founder V.K.V. Tafrogam, Sri Sobeng I Tayangwas the chief guest.School Supporting group members, few parents (Alumni),students and school staff became the part of this remarkable event. Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September as an occasion to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and handwork of our teachers in making us a sophisticated and responsible individual.VKV. Tafrogam has celebrated Teachers’ Day 2020 amid covid-19 pandemic. In the morning at 9:30 all the teaching faculty gathered in the staff room and the program began with the lighting of the lamp by Sri P.K. Pandey sir followed by the invocation prayer. A short speech on the significance of the day was delivered by Sri Shanmukhan. We fondly remembered Dr. Sarvepalli Radha krishnan and offered flowers to his image to mark the day. The program was concluded after having some fun games in the playground with the teaching and non teaching staff followed by Refreshment.
