Bharat Jago Daud - 11th September 2013
As Swami Vivekananda Sardha Sathi Samaroh is being celebrated, Bharat Jago Daud was organized at Tezu town for 4 km. on the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day. This run was for 18-40 years age group. Nearby 250 ladies & 150 gents and 100 audience, well wishers gathered at Jubilee ground to inaugurate the programme at 8.00 am. Swami Vivekananda Tableau was also the attraction of the programme.
Sri. Saji.P. Kuruvilla, S.P. of Lohit district was the Chief Guest for inauguration of the programme. Sri. Vibhas Chandra Das Purkayastha, the co- ordinator of North East SVSS was the Guest of Honour. Programme started with lighting the lamp in front of Swami Vivekananda portrait along with manglacharan. Sri. K. Ngadong , Zilla Sanyojak of SVSS welcomed the youth participants of Daud. The Guest of honour explained the importance of Bharat Jago Daud. Youth & audience were highly appreciated by Swamiji’s love for Bharat Mata. The Chief Guest motivated the youth for Wake Up Bharat & Enlighten the world. After the speech, he flag off the Marathon. All 400 youth took part in the run from Jubilee Ground to Energy Park. Every participant offered flowers to Swamiji’s statue at energy park. It was interesting to see the enthusiastic, strong, energetic youths of Tezu offering flowers with warm breath after running 4km and folding the hands in front of Swamiji. This showed the love for Bharat (Nation) & Swamiji among the present youth of Tezu area.
