VKV Sunpura has celebrated Teacher's Day.The Program was planned in a very simple way due to the pandemic situation. All the teacher's and staff participated enthusiastically.

VKV Sunpura has celebrated Sri Krishna Janmastmi .Programme was a successful one.Due to heavy rainfall outdoor events couldn't be conduct.Indoor games carrom and chesse were played by the students and the teachers.
Programme celebrated in a planned manner also conducted competition for students.The competition conducted are Rakhi making photo sharing(class6-8),Rakshabhandan card making(class 3-5) and sweet making competition(class 9&10) our team prepared rakhi and distributed to all the department along with wishing cards and envelope. All the department people shown their gratitude and conducted the celebration with the rakhis given by our team. It was a wonderful experience.


Dr Manaya Mena graced the premises of VKV Sunpura as a special guest to address the inmates of the school about her spiritual and transcendental journey as well as other important words with our students.
Dr. Manaya Mena is a former student of Tafrogam. Now, despite having a successful carrier as a scientist she devotes herself to the society by aiming to impart quality education. She herself runs 3 schools in different parts of Arunachal Pradesh –Roing & Anini. For her success, she thanked her teachers from VKV and also mentioned that the prayers that she had learned helped her instilling positivity in her life. She encouraged the students of VKV Sunpura to pay heed to the spiritual energy within them. The power of prayers and mantra and self-awareness was harped on. She explained about the concept behind the celebration of Shiva Ratri. Dr. Manaya Mena spoke to the young girls about becoming an empowered individual. The students responded positively to the speaker. The teachers were instructed to teach the students about the meaning of the mantras, so, as to impart maximum benefits to this spiritual growth.
The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal Smt. Raji R and lastly shanti mantra was chanted.

The programme started from 9.30 am with welcome of the guests _ Sri. Bakrim Chikro, Member of SSG and 2 other parents. The following was the agenda of the programme.

The Indigenous Faith Puja was performed on 08-07-2020. A group including 10 members from the Mishmi Culture and Faith Promotion Organisation from Tezu came to carry out the puja which was accompanied by Sri. Ashok Atale from Arunjyoti. The ritual was performed nicely with the chanting of mantra and local bhajans. The puja was performed in the prayer hall. The place was decorated beautifully and the arrangement for the puja was made accordingly as informed by them.

Guru Purnima was celebrated on 05-06-2020 in our school prayer hall with full enthusiasm. The place was decorated beautifully. Taking into account the situation at present it was celebrated with full precaution. The day was celebrated to make students and staff aware about our rich cultural heritage of ‘Guru Shishya Param Para’. It was celebrated to understand and realize the importance of guru in our life. Teachers, students and all other staffs along with their family were present during the programme. The head gaon bura of Sunpura circle Sri. Nidju Towang and Sri Bakrim Chickro were also present to attain the auspicious day. All the guru or we can say teachers were dedicated with beautiful bhajans and a speech.
At last we all took the blessings of our guru’s by offering flowers. It was a very nice celebration.

One day Prachodaya Shibir has been organised in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Sunpura from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm in presence of Shri. Baburam Chaitomji member of School Supporting Group as a chief guest, Shri. Pradip Kumar Pandey CIC Lohit cluster and Shri. A Krishnan sir Principal VKV Roing. Total 68 students were participated including day scholars students of class IX and X. total 6 sessions were conducted on this occasion briefed as followed.
Session I (inaugural session)
In this session there was the welcome address delivered by Principal Shri. Balaji N Waghmare in which he welcome the all invitees and felicitated all the guest with Gamchha and token of love. After this Smt. Anjani Rai teacher of our school highlighted the’ importance of Prachodaya for students” . She spoke about the values infused by Kendra in students ommunity.Shri. Baburamji Chaitom advised students to follow and to obey their teachers. Have the respect for teacher and give the importance to the education.
Session II
This session was taken by Shri. A Krishnan Sir the Principal of VKV Roing. In this session he Spoke on the topic “students of modern age; opportunity and challenge.” He addressed to the students about the modern electronic gadgets advantages and disadvantages. He also presented PPT slide on the given topic. He warned students against the danger of imitation of western culture. After this Shri. Pradip Kumar Pandey sir CIC of Lohit cluster addressed student on the given Topic ‘Kendra activities and its impact on the life of students of Arunachal Pradesh’. In his speech he emphasizes on the various activities taken by the Kendra for the welfare of Arunachalli people and students. He also reminded the main motto of Kendra i.e. Man making and Nation Building. He added that Vivekanada Kendra is a purely spiritually oriented service mission which is imparting the moral values in the students to facilitate the preservation of our indigenous culture.
