The main activities taken up during the week:

Daily speech on various topics related to library and reading habits by the students of class IX in the school assembly in the morning.
Book display for classes III to X.
Extra reading hours, other than regular library periods, were given to students of classes VI-X.
Class VII students were taken to the District Library to see how a library works.
Teachers displayed their personal books so as to inculcate reading habits among students.
The Concluding program was done on 26.11.2019.

District Level Science Exhibition was held today on 16th November 2019 at VKV Koloriang Auditorium Hall. Students from different schools participated in the competition. Various scientific models on the theme “Science and Technology for Sustainable Development” were prepared and presented. Altogether there were 26 models prepared under various sub-themes such as Sustainable Agricultural Practices, Cleanliness and Health, Resource management, Industrial Development, transport and communication etc. Sri Nani Chada, Vice Principal, GHSS Koloriang was the Chief Guest and Sri Bhim Prasad Upadhyay, Principal VKV Koloriang was the Guest of Honour. In his address, Chief Guest told that the young students are the future leaders, rulers and scientists of tomorrow and also told it is the right time to develop scientific temperament in this young mind. He also appealed the students to manifest their brain in an innovative and creative ways. Finally the result was announced. Kr.Bengia Aru & Kr Bengia Ama of VKV Koloriang secured 2nd& 3rd Position respectively. Kr. Bengia Aru will be participating in the State Level at Itanagar.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Itanagar celebrated Children's Day on 14th November 2019 in great zeal.A small programme was organised by teachers side to mark this special day of children. The following activities had planned by teachers for children's recreation:-

Patil Pankaj Balasaheb Moreover there was also felicitation of students who have secured 100 % attendance in first term as well as the special achievements in sports.The day was also marked with commencement of different sports knockout matches.
