The festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated on 5th July 2020 at 2:30 pm. Su Srishti Rai, Su Beauty Sonowal and Su Ratna Saha were the in charges of the event.
The total number of person in the event were 28 including teachers, other staffs, a few guests, Arunjyoti karyakartas and the students. The event started with three omkars and then Sahanavavatu.
Our Principal, Shri Sanjeeb Kr. Kar, welcomed all and felicitated the two pujaris of the event. Smt. Manisha Devi, anchor of the event, highlighted the importance of Guru Purnima.
Shri. Tara Kamchi, Nagar Pramukh, presented the importance of Gurus in our lives. In his speech, he said many important things like we have been celebrating Guru Purnima since thousands of years. The relationship between the Guru and the disciple is unbreakable. It is the Guru, who shows us the right path.
After that Shri. Ramendra Prasad, highlighted the importance of Pujaris, the guru who played the main role in the event.
Shri. P.G. Dodum, Sampark Pramukh, told us about the activities of Vivekananda Kendra. Sir, in his speech, has motivated and encouraged everyone to keep on doing hard work for Vivekananda Kendra.
After that, the puja ceremony started by the two pujaris, followed by bhajan and prayer in local dialect (Nyishi).
The audio of Gurustotram was being played and the participants looked it in the padavali. As soon as, the audio ended, the participants closed their eyes for guru dhyan.
Sneharvardhini was conducted in the Auditorium hall of VKV Wessang. 20 Women from nearby areas of VKV Wessang were present in the programme. Smt. Smita Kumari, a house wife of Wessang has taught the women how to make waste material as use product. The plastic bags, wrappers of packaged items, unwearable clothes were used to make bags, wall hanging bags, dish carpets, mobile covers etc. All the women learnt with great enthusiasm.
Students of VKV Wessang have sung National Anthem with Band in the Commencement of closing cerimoney of 4th U-18 state level Hangpen Dada Memorial football and Volley ball trophy 2019-20. Hon'ble Governer of Arunachal Pradesh Retd. Brigadier B D Mishra was the chief guest of the programme.Drawing comp. conducted on 23.01.2020 by ICDS Seppa under the banner of " Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" week.
VKV Wessang and KGBV Wessang got first and third position respectively in district level NCSC 19.

With a view to promoting positive thinking, team sprit overall dynamism in students, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Wessang, East Kameng District conducted a one day personality development camp in the school campus. About 41 young aspirants of V.K.V, Wessang and nearby schools participated in the camp. The number of activities outlined during the camp included session on Swami Vivekananda, Tips for Personality Development, Pariksha de Haste Haste, games like Chunu Munu ki Mithai, passing of coins, Yoga and group discussion. Yoga and games session was taken By Sristi Rai, Beauti Sonowal and Medona Darang(Teachers, Wessang).Shibir Geet was performed by Simphe Tiawary(Taecher, Wessang). Overall Coordination was done by Karupasami N and N.K Pathak(Teachers Wessang)
A science exhibition was held at V.K.V Wessang campus here on 24 of November 2018. Sri S.D Pandey, Lecturer from DIET, Seppa Inaugurated it. The students from class V (five) to Class X (ten) exhibited their innovative talents
With the key objective of bringing the hidden talents of science, technology and innovation, the exhibition was organized with the theme of WASTE TO HEALTH
In this exhibition a total of 37 projects were exhibited by 137 students in their respective groups. The students and staffs of OJU Mission school were visited the Exhibition to witnessed it.
VKV Wessang has celebrated The Birth Anniversary of Eknathji Remade.. Total students 350 and 16 teachers from VKV, KGBV and RMSA have attended the programme.
