A myriad of scintillating programmes marked the “MEGA TALENT SHOW” organized at VKV Nirjuli on 25th November, 2017 to showcase the intrinsic talent of the tiny kids of class 1 to v of the school involving 450 students in 27 items. The Cultural Extravaganza was graced by Sri Tapi Gao, Director, Elementary Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh as the Chief Guest. The spectacular performance which include Saraswati Vandana, storytelling, PPT presentation on the life and time of Swami Vivekananda , Gita Chanting, Regional songs, local song, local dance, Bihu Dance, Mime presentation, Nyishi dance, jokes, Bharateeyam, skit presentation on “save environment”, kathak nritya, kavita path, Kalaripayattu— martial art of Kerala, galo dance, karate skill presentation, March Past drill, action song, Bengali dance, presentation of Saint Kabir’s Doha and interpretation, Collaborative Drawing in the blackboard by a group of students, role  play on the mission ,vision and accomplishment of erecting Vivekananda Rock Memorial enthralled the huge gathering of around 1200 parents well-wishers,  teachers and students.

Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest Sri Tapi Gao expressed his utmost happiness and acknowledged the peerless performance of VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh academically and in other activities. He exhorted the parents to support the VKVs in its mission, movement and in the journey in imparting education for holistic development. He added that VKVs contributed immensely in producing responsible and productive human resources and a galaxy of various professionals such as doctors, engineers, administrators and social workers. He also urged the parents to identify and nurture the latent potentiality of their children to excel in various areas to make them good citizens.
