VKV, Yingkiong observed the 2nd INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY in a befitting manner. The programme was organised by the Department of AYUSH, Yingkiong in town Hall at 7am. The chief guest of the programme was Shri Remo Kamki, Deputy Commissioner Upper Siang and the Guest of honour was Shri Amulya Boruah S.P Yingkiong. The AYUSH also invited the students & the teaching staff of VKV Yingkiong to participate in the event. The programme was attended by various government officials, our VKV Yingkiong family & the general public.

Shri Remo Kamki, Deputy Commissioner, Upper Siang District appealed the general public and the students community to make the Yoga as a part of their life and to continue it in every walk of life.

There was a short Yoga demonstration by our teachers. The programme concluded at 8 am.
