Cluster Level Bhagawad Gita Chanting competition of Siang Cluster was held on 19th Dec 2021 at VKV Oyan. VKV Jirdin, VKV Yinkiong, VKV Basar and VKV Oyan participated in the event. The competition was for Group C and D, both Boys and Girls category.
Sri. Ranjit Doley, Principal , Donyi polo Vidya Niketan graced the occasion as the chief Guest. Sri. P.M Unnikrishnan, EO of Siang Cluster School and Sri. Krishna Kumar, Member VKV APT attended the event. The programme inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest followed with Magalacharan, Welcome Song and Rules and Regulation of the competition. Sri. Krishna Kumar sir, Sri. Bikram Chetry, Teacher, VKV Oyan and Sri Narendra Kumar,Teacher, VKV Yinkiong judged the competition.
The Chanting competition took place under two categories ( Group C and D) Group C comprise of students of 6 to 8, whereas Group D comprised of students of Class IX and X. ITotal 44 students of 4 schools participated in the chanting of Bhagawad Gita. The Chanting was done of the 1st Chapter of Bhagawad Gita. The participant’s details of each group is tabulated below.
