The Prachodaya camp was conducted at our school on 25 August,2019.The students of class IX and X who secured 60% and above in their previous class final examination from VKV Nivedita Vihar and VKV Seijosa got the opportunity to participate in the Prachodaya camp.The total participants from VKV Nivedita Vihar was 45 and 27 from VKV Seijosa.The programme was started sharply at 8.30 am with invocation .Welcome address and felicitation of the resource persons were done by the Principal of VKV Nivedita Vihar.The distinguished guests and resource persons who had enlighten the students were Education officer Sri Muralidharan Sir,cluster incharge Sri Y.Pradeep Sir,Sri Ananda Dutta Sir,CounsellorSmti.Manisha Gokhale Saikia,Company Commander Captain Ambanish Nafole,Principal VKV Nivedita Vihar Smti.Ranjana Srivastav didi.6 session were there and the 1st session topic was ‘Raise yourself’taken by Sri Muralidharan Sir in which he gave the mantras how to develop personalities and achieve higher tendencies.Next session topic was ‘Attitude decides Altitudes’ taken by Smti. Manisha Didi where she discussed the problems faced by adolescence and how to face the challenges.3rd session was taken by Smti. Ranjana Didi where she told the importance of a routine in student’s life. The 4th session was taken by Captain Ambanish Nafoli where he discussed about the career guidance. He told various job opportunities in defence. The 5th session topic was ‘goal set’ taken by Ananda Dutta sir. He discussed about goal setting, its importance and how achieve it. And the last session was taken by Y. Pradeep sir on the topic ‘Utilization of study hour’ in which he gave the ideas for effective learning. After this the session was ended with feedback by students and teachers. At last Muralidharan Sir blessed the students through his words of wisdom.

VKV Nivedita Vihar celebrated 5th International Yoga Day in a grant manner

On 7th July 2018 Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Nivedita vihar conducted the first academic meeting of IX and X.Around 40 parents participated in the meeting.Ex.Educational Officer Sri.Dixitji addressed the mob.Result analysis,changed exam pattern,Effort from school side for better result like that many topics were discussed. Parents have done a group discussion on the development topic "Expectation of parents and their motivational role on the development of the child ".All the group leaders were presented their points and views.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Nivedita vihar conducted local Nyishi pooja in the school.Seijosa Nyeder Namlo priest and other members conducted the pooja. some of the local parents and sisters of VKTC attended the pooja.197 students of school hostel and private hostel attended the pooja.Cluster In charge Sri.Kumaravel sir was fortunate to be the part in the pooja.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Nivedita vihar celebrated the international yoga day along with the near by thrèe schools and near by 20 ladies a group of soldiers of Assam rifles and well wishers.
Chief guests were the Commander of Assam Rifles Sri.Sanjay Tamang and school supporting committee chairman Sri.Basang wage.
As a prior preparation of the programme our two teachers and few students went to the near by school such as Darlong secondary school,St.Joseph school A2 and Middle school RWD colony and given practice for three days on suryanamaskar and pranayama.
Around 100 students from different schools,20 ladies of Snehavardhini group and 6 teachers from above schools and 7 soldiers from Assam Rifles and 210 students of our school attended the programme very successfully.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Nivedita vihar conducted Matrupuja for both the school.Around 100 parents participated.Sri.K.Krishnakumar member Vkv apt graced the occasion.
