VKV Kuporijo celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti on 12th January 2018 by organising a colourful cultural programme . The programme bagan with ‘ Vande Mataram’.
Sri Tade Gumja, Secretary VKV Alumni , Upper Subansiri was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the gathering he highlighted on the value of education in the present era and appealed parents to take care of their children. He compared his childhood with the present day changes and urged all to come forward to groom this institution.
Sri Tripur M.P. Chaubey, senior teacher spoke on the significance of the day. Sri Ashis Chatterjee, Principal VKV Kuporijo , recalled the glory of India and adherence of Swami Vivekananda’s message among youths.
The students presented patriotic song, drama with the theme women empowerment , Tagin dance, Adi dance, Nishyi Dance and Rajasthani folk dance.
The programme was attended by 356 parents, well-wishers and VKV alumni
