Continuing the phase wise celebration of 100th Birth Anniversary of Mananeeya Eknathji, founder President, Vivekananda Kendra, a College level Yuva Sammelan was organized here in VKV Kuporijo on 19th September 2015. The program started with the rhythm of 3 omkar and Shanti Path along with lightning of Lamp by Sri. Ashis Chatterjee, Principal In-charge, VKV Kuporijo. He also delivered welcome address after a patriotic group song presented by Class-IX students. Sri. Sadung Gyadu, APCS of 2009 batch, an X-VKVian from VKV Kuporijo (Kuporijo’s first batch), CO Payeng circle with additional charge of DTO, Upper Subansiri District, Successful, Young and Energetic, came as a resource person and took the session on the topic “Channelizing Youth Power” which was also the theme of said Yuva Sammelan.

As per the agenda, the group discussion on the topic “Role of the youth” was moderated by Sri. Tako Siga, teacher VKV Kuporijo, also a Karyakarta through VKV Arun Jyoti since 2001. The discussion’s conclusion was also given by him. He also initiated the inspiring PPTs and Videos display with the help of a projector.

A Debate was also done on the topic “Whether transformation in society is good or not”. For the discussion, Sri. C.B Chetry, teacher VKV Kuporijo, was the mediator, Sri. Krishna Taman and Sri. Bishwnath Mahata, both also teacher of VKV Kuporijo, were the judge.  The debate went nicely and the participants enjoyed and learnt it a lot.

Concluding the program, Sri. Arun Pakrin, Nagar Sangathak, VK Arun Jyoti Daporijo, Upper Subansiri Dist. informed about the next level “Vijay Hi Vijay” Camp in Pasighat. Then program ended with Kendra Prathna at 3:30 pm.

There were 30 participants from one and only College of Upper Subansiri Dstrict i.e. Daporijo Government College. 13 were the girls and rests were the boys. During the session of the Sri. Gyaduji, the 45 students of Class-X, VKV Kuporijo was called up to get inspirational thoughts from him.

The program was done in joint collaboration of VKV Kuporijo and VK Arun Jyoti Daporijo. Over all, the program was coordinated by Sri. Tako Siga, as mentioned, who is also a teacher coordinator for MEJSP.
