Program Detail:The District level competition for the Traditional dance and drama on the occasion of MEJSP and Swamiji Jayanti cum National Youth Day celebration was conducted at VKV-Kharsang.

There were eight troops for the traditional dance and seven troops of traditional drama competitions.

Agenda

1. The lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest
2. Welcome song from the girls of VKV-Kharsang.
3. Welcome address by Shri Shyamal Chakraborty, Principal, VKV-Kharsang.
4. ‘Importance of the day’ by Shri Keshab Upadhayay, Coordinator from VKV-Kharsang for MEJSP.
5. Chief Guest’s Address: Highlighted the importance of indigenous culture and appealed the public to protect it for the future generations.

Felicitation: Chief Guest and three judges were felicitated by the Principal of VKV-Kharsang. It was followed by the traditional dance competition from eight local troops

Attendance: About 350 students and 400 well wishers and parents witnessed the programme.

The prizes to the winners were given by Shri N.Ngemu. After Vote of thanks the programme was concluded with Shanti mantra at 2.30 pm.
