Program Detail:The District level competition for the Traditional dance and drama on the occasion of MEJSP and Swamiji Jayanti cum National Youth Day celebration was conducted at VKV-Kharsang.
There were eight troops for the traditional dance and seven troops of traditional drama competitions.
Agenda
- The lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest
- Welcome song from the girls of VKV-Kharsang.
- Welcome address by Shri Shyamal Chakraborty, Principal, VKV-Kharsang.
- ‘Importance of the day’ by Shri Keshab Upadhayay, Coordinator from VKV-Kharsang for MEJSP.
- Chief Guest’s Address: Highlighted the importance of indigenous culture and appealed the public to protect it for the future generations.
Felicitation: Chief Guest and three judges were felicitated by the Principal of VKV-Kharsang. It was followed by the traditional dance competition from eight local troops

Attendance: About 350 students and 400 well wishers and parents witnessed the programme.
