National Youth Day was celebrated with great fervor at school auditorium in the presence of parents, well-wishers and students. In order to mark the 158th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a colourful programme was organized by the students of VKV, Kimi. The programme started at 10.30 am with lighting of lamp and sharing of Importance of the Day by Sri Brajesh Rajak.

Vibrant indigenous dances, patriotic song, drama, mime and rhyme made the programme a joyous event for the audience present on the occasion.

Later on, addressing the audience, Sri Lakhi Nath Handique, Principal, VKV, ( NEEPCO ), Kimi spoke about the lost glory of India and urged the parents to take good care of their children. He said, “Youth of today are the future of this Punya Bhumi and their achievement will alone take this nation forward.”
