Based on the guidelines suggested by the Administrative Office regarding the Process Planning for Inter –VKV Essay Writing Competition, following steps were undertaken in the past one-month:

• Books like- A Biography of Swami Vivekananda, Life of Swami Vivekananda, etc. were suggested to be read from the library.
• Incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda were shared by the teachers.
  Sample Essays on different topics were provided.
• Mock Test and different activities relating creative writing were conducted for improving the writing skills.
• A Workshop was conducted by the teachers under the supervision of Education Officer, Sri. S. Muralidharan, which highlighted the structure and the pattern of the essay.
• Speech Competition was conducted on ‘Life and Work of Swami Vivekananda’ to give an insight to Swamiji’s life and his philosophies.
• Story Telling and quiz was also conducted in the school assembly.
