Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in the school auditorium with full fervor and gaiety. The programme started at 10:. 30 am with the sharing of significance of the day by Sri L.N.Handique. Speaking on the occasion, he shared the birth story of Lord Ganesha and his importance among all the deities.

The main highlights of the programme were bhajan singing and idol making competition. Students took part in the competition with full enthusiasm and made colourful idols of Lord Ganesha. Later on, students took the blessings of the deity and prayed for their better future. The programme ended with Ganesh Aarti and distribution of prasadam.
