On the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga, VKV NEEPCO KIMI conducted many outreach Yoga Programs on 21.06.2025 at 4 different places - Pachhis Village, Upper Colony, NEEPCO HRD centre, and school in a befitting manner as per the AYUSH Common Yoga Protocol, Govt. of India. The program today started with the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s speech from Vishakhapatnam from 6.30 am to 7 am, followed by a Yoga demonstration and practice. The Pachhis village program was conducted in collaboration with the Kimi Welfare Society. Sri Rintu Khabisow, Chairman, Kimi Welfare Society, was the Chief Guest in the Program. 68 villagers, including their wards, attended the program at Pachhis village.
               In Upper Colony, total attendance was 82. In the NEEPCO HRD Centre, total attendance was 52, and at the Vidyalaya for the periphery public and students, with 97 participants. The program started with prarthana, followed by breathing and loosening exercises, asanas, pranayams, Dhyana, Sankalp, and finally shanti mantra. Benefits of different asanas and pranayams were told, and also encouraged to practice some of the asanas and pranayams in their day-to-day life to keep themselves healthy and fit. In his address, Principal Sri Bhim Prasad Upadhyay advised everyone to continue the practice of yoga on a regular basis, at least half an hour daily in the morning. Further added that the regular practice of Yoga helps in curing various kinds of diseases and trains our body and mind. It also promotes peace and harmony in society. Altogether, the total number of participants in the program was 299.
