On the day of the puja, the priest made a special structure called ‘Yugang’ is made of bamboo fibre beautiful designed and kept at a particular place where the priest chanted mantras calling on all the natural deities. The priest explained the puja by saying that the god of nature is nothing but the guard and witness of nature and it is believed that each item of forest has an eye to see in each one a god. Attempt has been made here to visualize man’s inclination towards nature worship and their concern about traditional customs and rites. The puja was continued up to 6pm.
