VKV Joram conducted its 1st parents’ meet for the session 2018-19 on 06-08-2018. The parents of classes I to VIII were invited to the meeting. The meeting was attended by 124 parents  ,3 private hostel owners, 5 well- wishers  and 8 teaching staff of the school. So the total attendance was 150.

The meeting  was started at 10:15 am with three omkaras and Om sahanavavatu  followed by a group song “Nirmano ke pavan yug mey” presented by class VIII girls.

Sri Loknath Sarma gave the welcome speech and also read out a brief report of the school. The results of 1st Written Test and 1st Periodic Test  were presented by the respective class teachers.

In the parents' turn Sri Tai Tariam , Sri Joram Puna , Dr. Tader Tag and Sri Joram Oma spoke on the occasion. They emphasized the following points:-

  1. Special care for the slow learners.
  2. Improvement in the performance in Mathematics and in Hindi .
  3. Good coordination among parents , private hostels and the teachers .
  4. Implementation of VKVs guidelines in private hostels.
  5. Regularity in attending classes by the students.
  6. Teachers’ frequent visit to the hostels and guidance for the smooth functioning of the hostel.
  7. Providing nutritional food and potable water to the hostellers for good health and immunity.
  8. Timely reporting of the students after vacations.
  9. Collection of school fee at the time of admission.
  10. Participation of the students in different programmes conducted by the Govt.

Everybody requested the principal to start its hostel inside the campus for the benefit of the students.

Sri Trilochan Upadhyay ,the Principal of the school responded to the queries of the parents and also gave assurance of  good performance of the students in the coming days.

Sri Tikaram Updahyay extended vote of thanks to all for their kind presence and also hoped  continued good  support and valuable suggestions of all  for further development of the school and the students. The meeting ended with Shanti mantra at 12:40 pm.
