On 22nd August 2020 Ma. Eknathji Punya Tithi and Ganesh Chaturthi was observed in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Basar. Bhandari sir (Sanskrit teacher) had chanted mantras and all the teachers of VKV Basar followed the mantra and prayed together.

Ganesh chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.

Bhandari sir spoke on the Ganesh Chaturthi, and two Ganesh Bhajan was sung by the teachers and followed by Aarti to Lord Ganesha with playing Ganesh Aarti.

After finished the Aarti Ma. Eknathji Punya Tithi was observed.

Delivered a speech by Kenny Hokom didi on Ma. Eknath ji, she spoke about the life of Sri Eknath ji Ranade and underlined the great work done by Eknathji. Followed by ‘Push Arpan’ to Eknathji by all the staffs.
