Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.

3rd August 2020  Raksha Bandhan the auspicious day celebrated at VKV Basar . The concept of Raksha Bandhan has a much wider concept beyond the raksha of sister by her brother, the mutual commitment of safe-guard, protections, and bonding of us all each other in our family, organisation, our school’s all stake holders and the society.

This year due to Covid 19 Pandemic, there are lots of restrictions on people meeting each other even on the occasion of Radsha Bndhan due to the following of social distancing norms. But all the teaching staffs and non teaching staffs made this occasion happened.

We started this Raksha Bandhan programme with 3 omkara and shanty mantra Followed by speech on Importance of the day by Smt. Mamon Acharya Followed by few words from Bhima didi (principal)

After that Rakhi tie ceremony was performed. Each and every staff tied Rakhi to each other.

Followed by 1 min of meditation, we took sankalp on Raksha Bandhan that we will always take care of nature and all the humanity, our behaviour, our every step should be in the favor of the society, and nature.

In this Raksha bandhan, we also tried to spread the message that we have a responsibility to protect Environment form getting hurt. Every individual should tie rakhi to all nearby plants and animal. This way we can spread love towards Environment.
