Universal  Brotherhood Day  was  celebrated at School  Premises.  The Program  was  started  at  7: 00 am  by  “Run for Brotherhood Marathon Race “ from  VKV Basar  to Bam Village. Total 24 Participants were   there .Out of  24 participants  1st Prize was won  by  Kr. Bimon Riang ( Tomi Polytechnic  College), 2nd  Prize by  Kr. Toko  Kamin( Tomi  Polytechnic College Basar) and 3rd  Prize by   Kr. Goli  Basar ( Soi Village Basar) .  5 nos of Participants  were the  Alumini  of  VKV Basar  and  VKV Sher.

At  10: am  the  next   program  started by lighting of lamp by   Chief Guest ;  Sri Toli Bam, Sub -Divisional  Agriculture  Officer,  Basar,   Welcome Address by Principal VKV Basar, Significance  of the Day  by Su. Yabi Yongam, Chicago Address   by  Kr. Mujom  Ete Std of Class VIII, Speech by Chief guest.   He was very happy  and  said to the Parents to keep in touch with the children and the follow the ideology of Swami Vivekananda to make the India  proud. He also encouraged the students to  focus on study not in western culture. He also added some of the program lunch by Prime Minister of India. After his speech the Prize was distributed to the Marathon winner ; 1st Prize Rs 5,000/- 2nd Prize Rs . 3,000/- and 3rd Prize Rs. 2,000/-. After that the cultural Program was  presented by the students.School Supportive Committee Members, Smt. Tonya Basar ( ZPM Basar) , Dr. Limar Karga, Dr. Daktar Taso ,Sri Chokbam Nyodu (ASM Nyodu),Sri Jumsen Bam( ADO Nari), Sri. Puluk GAdi ( A.E Electrical) Sri. Domo Ete( ADO Basar)  Total  200 Parents   and  203 students  and 7 Alumuni  was present in the Program.  Vote of Thanks by  Su.  Namita  Gantayat. The Program ended   with    Shanti  Mantra.
