The day of 22nd August 2021, began with the remembrance and offered prayers to the Divine Soul, Maan. Eknathji, on his Punyatithi. The programme started with three 'Omkaras' and 'Sahana Vavatu' followed by speech on 'Jeevani of Maan. Eknathji' by Shri Gyanendra Bhandari Sir. Then the song 'Hum Anuyaayi Eknath Ke' was sung by all the teachers of VKV Basar. The programme concluded with 'Pushpa Arpan' to Maan. Eknath ji by all the teaching and non- teaching staffs and few students present that day. Raksha Bandhan celebration started with the speech on the 'Significance of the Day' by Smti. Mamon Acharya. Shri Gyanendra Bhandari Sir chanted Mantras and tied Rakhi to Swami Vivekananda, after that all the teachers tied Rakhi to each other and to the trees inside the school campus. Moreover we took a 'Sankalpa' to save the trees. We also distributed handmade Rakhi and Cards to the MLA, DC, ADC of Basar and Asst. Engineer of PHE, PWD and Power Department.

We celebrated both the programmes by following SOP's and Covid -19 protocols with limited members. Both the programmes were well- organised and celebrated with divine and spiritual spirit.
