Rakshabandhan was celebrated on August 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the school prayer hall. The program was started with 3 omkaras with sahanabwutu………… The Principal, VKV Shergaon, delivered the welcome address. Smt. K Pandey highlighted the significance of Rakshabandhan, and Sri S N Pandey briefed regarding the observation of Sanskrit week from 04.08.2025 to 09.08.2025 in his speech. Then Rakhis were tied to OM and Swamiji. Then Students tied the rakhi among themselves. Smt. K Pandey and Pinki Biju tied Rakhi to all the staff members. The Swets were distributed to all the students and staff present in the prayer hall. Total attendance of the program was 378, including all the staff members. The program ended with the Shanti Mantra at 10.50 am.

All Sankul members joined in the get-together party and helped in preparing Lunch for the hostellers.

Then, students went for an outreach program for tying Rakhi in various places like SSB, Medical Colony, Shergaon Colony, and NSB School (100 Broader). The students of VKV Shergaon tied Rakhis to all the SSB soldiers, Officials, and the Commandant. SSB Commandant Sri Kunal arranged a grand feast. The total number of outreach attendees is 363. 

In morning assembly on 04/08/2025 – 09/08/2025, Sanskrit prayer, Sanskrit pledge, Sanskrit geetam subhashit vachanani with explanation were conducted.
Literary activities such as Sankhaya Garnam, Sanskrit Geetam, Sanskrit Pledge, and Parts of the body in the Sanskrit language were conducted in the school prayer hall during the Sanskrit Week, and other programs will be continuing as per the Sanskrit Week Program.
